I have stayed at many top hotels before however Bristol Palace Hotel was far one of my top three ever. First, their staff are patient and positive. We had a seamless check-in after an 8 hour flight plus 3 hour train ride there. Secondly, the rooms are delightful, elegant and charming with all you need. Last but not least, the location is unbeatable. Bonus, the breakfast buffet is delicious and truly an Italian fairytale! I highly recommend and will come back. Thank you so much Hotel Bristol Palace! Sincerely, two grateful Americans.

Property is located in a walkable area to easily access restaurants and stores. Front desk staff is great! very helpful and knowledgeable …gave us great restaurant recommendations and places of interest. The bar staff and service is my only disappointment at this property as the service if any is slow, bar tender barely acknowledged us when entering and we sat for 20 min before he brought over the menu to disappear never to be seen. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy a drink before dinner.

This is a wonderful hotel, reminiscent of the old days. The service is exceptional. We were troubled by a constant sound coming from beneath our room of a machine going on and off on and off otherwise it was a wonderful place to stay in the center of Genoa.

Our room was very undistinguished, surprising given the price and stars. The bad news was that the air conditioning unit was extremely loud. The good news was that the loudness of the unit obscured the sound of snoring from the neighboring room—pretty abysmal sound-proofing. Positives are that the hotel is very convenient to the old town and its many attractions, to some excellent restaurants and the Brignole train station.
