I booked through Expedia because the rate was less than direct through IHG. The price was non refundable and I understand. But mid morning my wife called me to tell me that we had a water leak in our refrigerator and I needed to get home to resolve. I called to cancel and because it was an Expedia booking, no refund. As a result, I paid for a room I didn’t use but IHG got their money. In the future, no IHG properties and will be sure to let everyone know my experience.
