The Armour is a well prepared, comfortable motel in the heart of Beechworth. Andrew and his team were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. I highly recommend it.

The property owner was a total delight to be greeted by, he had a friendly demeaner, good banter and was very welcoming. The accommodation was comfortable, close to everything in town and having a pool for the warmer months is a bonus. The only negative if i do have to add one is the room is a little dark with the dark brick walls but that's nothing to turn us off staying again. The 3 of us were very happy with our home away from home for the night. Thanks for having us ... we will be back again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Armour Inn. I was happy with the location and the accomodation had everything we needed. The hosts were excellent and even upgraded our room to a family room with no extra charge. I would definitely stay here again.

So convenient
Ithe Armour is in a great location for walking to everything. The host is very friendly with lots of helpful suggestions for activities and food. The bed in our room was too hard for us. Everything else I couldn't fault as it was very clean, heating worked well and tea and coffee available in the room. Beautiful part of the world to visit.

Check in and out was good, but we were quite disappointed. The bed was quite small and very firm, not really comfortable. The noise from another room was very loud in our room and went on past 11, We were on the 1st floor and had to use the stairs, which were very steep, difficult carrying a child, we had recorded that we had a child and the age. The tv remote batteries were covered with tape to hold them in, which was really annoying because they kept moving and had to be repositioned all the time. It was close to the main street and restaurants and that was helpful.

Great to have some basic crockery and cutlery to make some toast or heat up a snack. Great location, close to eateries and things to do. Quite and great blinds to keep out excess lights etc. no traffic noise and nice staff. Gravest family stay.

Check in was easy and location is amazing. A couple of points though, for a area so cold in winter the electric blankets did not work and at check out time (10 am) there was no one in reception which made it feel very impersonal

We had a pleasant stay at the Armour. A conveniently located hotel close to the center of Beechworth. The person who checked us in was helpful with locating our room and parking. An induction into the room and where to go to find a meal late in the afternoon. Plus advised us of the attractions around Beechworth.
