Close and walking distance to the shops and restaurants which was convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful during check-in. When walking to our room, liked how the grape vines is all around the front porch of every room. The beds and bathroom were fine and was perfect enough during our stay. Loved the brick walls and high ceiling interior design of the room. Overall, the motel was lovely to stay and had a good night sleep since it located in a quiet area.

This motel is in the heart of Beechworth, and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and dining and retail outlets. So you can forget the car when exploring attractions of this beautful town. It's also very quiet, so no problem for light sleepers. The parking is good, and all the tooms are at ground level. The construction is solid brick, with ceilings much higher than you normally get. Even when it was cold outside, my room still felt warm. My room and bathroom were spotless, with all the facilities one could want for a motel. The owner was very friendly and helpful. My only criticisms would be the rather low water pressure in the shower, and the weak main room light, but this is pretty minor. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was clean and very quiet. Mattress a little soft but then I prefer a hard mattress. Water was nice and hot, just took a bit to get it. I LOVED the ceiling fan. I much prefer ceiling fans over A/C any day! There aren't too many motels/hotels that provide this, so thank you very much A 2 minute walk into town, with plenty of choices for food. Some weren't open on Monday nights but the pubs are open. The gentleman who checked us in was very welcoming. All in all, a really lovely 2 night stay!

Very tired establishment, the amount of light displayed in the online photos is not a true reflection.. room was quite dark and lacked strong lighting. Shower had mould and bed not very comfortable. Kettle and toaster not as good condition as shown online. Quiet location, walkable to town and some tourist attractions. . We love Beechworth but would look for somewhere else to stay when returning.
