Christmas getaway
We had an interesting stay. Lets start with the up side. We had plenty of space in and outside the house. We are a family of 7 age range from 40 to 7. The lake was a great way for our seven year old to spend time outdoors getting rid of his energy. The little firepit was perfect for our hotdogs & s'mores, " bring your own firewood ". The kitchen was super cute, it does have a good amout of pots and pans for a small family, or light chef's work. " only one adult fork ". There is a ton of salt & pepper, small oil, and coffee & creamer & tea for you. K-pod coffee maker. Soap provided for dishes, they did leave a sponge but it was a little more dirtier than i felt comfortable using. " brought our own ". They supplied one paper towel roll. The do supply laundry soap. The wate is well water " they supplied some water bottles, we used close to 23 gallons of water to cook & brush pur teeth with for a week. There is a iron smell when you shower. They did have shampoo & body wash " brought our own ". Plenty of towels in the shower to dry the whole family. The second room was a double bunkbed room perfect for the kids.The fridge is a little smaller than we are used to. The stove is brand new at the time of this post ergo works great. The beds are hard and a little uncomfortable for those who spend a little extra on their personal mattress. We had a hiccup with no water to the houses the last full day we were there but Jessica went above and beyond to try and help fix the problem.
