Absolutely gorgeous stay. Delicious breakfast, clean rooms and premises. I read reviews before I booked it but no one mentioned how stunning the view is from the hotel. I believe every room has the same view. The only complaint I could have is proximity to church- the bell tolls every 15 min (except between midnight and 6 am) so it’s hard to sleep.

Bad check in process and bad management
Room itself was okay (nothing special), but the self-check-in process is woefully deficient and management in the morning was quite poor. We arrived at 10pm after a long day of driving and the check in machine gave us errors on each attempt (despite charging our credit card 135CHF each time). We then had to phone an agent and it took us almost half an hour to check in, which is ridiculous. Then, the next morning, it turned out the booking had been made for one person instead of two, so the manager insisted we pay a 45 CHF surcharge (which doesn't make sense for just an extra breakfast) even though the price posted online was significantly cheaper. I didn't agree with this, but the manager then force charged my credit card and was terrible to deal with. Would avoid this hotel.

Everything was great! The only problem was the shower drain was clogged and water would start to fill up immediately. Other than that, me and my brother enjoyed the hotel and we felt everything from the staff to the security was perfect.

This is a selfservice hotel with nobody to assist, there was no water in the room or entire hotel, the pillows need to be replaced, towels are poor quantity and there were no bed sheets only matress cover and comforter. Finally the Church bell next to the hotel will ring every hour for over 2 minutes and every 15 minutes for few seconds which did not let us sleep all night. The ladies in the breakfast area were outstanding, friendly and kind.

Amazing hotel. This is a self-check-in hotel but it is amazingly clean, quiet and the views are unbeatable. There are no restaurants in this hotel. This is more like Airbnb type self-checkin hotel, but one of the best places I've ever been to.

I loved my time at Hotel Oberland!! The views are everything. I made a decision to stay in Triesenberg, rather than Vaduz or another town in the valley, primarily to save money. But it was so worthwhile for the views and the quiet away from the busier areas. Thankfully the buses to Vaduz and elsewhere are timely and convenient. (Just be aware it’s an uphill walk from the bus stop, which can be challenging with luggage.) The self check-in system worked well. But it was a very pleasant highlight to have staff cooking during the breakfast service. They were so welcoming, and the food was great, just what I needed for all the hiking I did throughout Liechtenstein.

Absolutely fantastic hotel for visiting Liechtenstein with easy access to the bus. The breakfast was especially great - lots of choice, freshly cooked eggs to order and great local produce. Great room too with the most beautiful view. A plug adapter is provided.

The hotel is very modern and beautiful, but we didn't have hot water for shower. I made an advanced payment, but unfortunately at rhe moment of check in, i was charged the whole rate again and lost my down payment paid earlier at reservation time. There is not reception staff to speak about it neither.

Don't stay anywhere else in Vaduz.
This was one of my top hotel finds of all time. The location was convenient and the facility was exceptionally clean and updated. Rooms overlooking the valley have fantastic views and the room was a very good value.
