Villa Oak is placed in a small village called Smilcic, just 25 km from Zadar. This is a stunning historical stone villa with old tradition (from 1820). Built-in 1820 and renovated to adopt new lifestyle this villa offers an oasis for family and friends gathering. Amnesties fit all the requirements of modern lifestyle, with some restored furniture pieces that picture lifestyle of the 19th-century aristocracy.

Villa consists of the first floor and separate object on the ground floor with large kitchen, barbecue, place for chilling and one additional bedroom. In the courtyard is large swimming with sun loungers.
This villa is perfect for relaxing holidays.
First beach is in Novigrad, just 7 km away from villa.
Krka waterfalls, Velebit, Kornati islands are one of the most popular Natural parks in Croatia, and less than two hours drive from villa.

We were impressed with the Zadar Villas and also the personal attention of the owner. It all went very smoothly especially with the uncertainties caused by Covid 19. We had a great holiday!!!!!

Lovely Villa, superb hosts
What a lovely villa, clean, tidy, everything we needed, superb hosts who went above and beyond. There is not much to do in the village, however we had a hire car and found it to be a perfect base for exploring Croatia. Only two minor things to be aware of, the church bells chime (multiple times) before 6am every morning, and if you have very young children, the villa living accomodation is up a stone staircase, however in my opinion these are minor things considering the villa and pool, and large fire place BBQ. Would highly recommend a stay here. We found places to visit no more than 30 minutes drive away (this was our time limit due to small children), we visited Krka National park which is a must!

Schönes Haus mit sehr nettem Vermieter
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in der Villa. Das Haus ist sauber und die Mauern schirmen den Innenhof gut von der Straße und dem Ort ab. Sodass eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre am Pool entsteht. Außerdem ist der Vermieter sehr freundlich und leicht zu kontaktieren.

Erholsamer Urlaub
Wir würden bei der Anreise von den Vermietern sehr herzlich empfangen. Durften auch schon vor 16 Uhr ins Haus. Es war alles vorhanden also auch Sachen wie Spülmittel, Waschmittel, Spüllappen sowie Essig Öl Salz. Zum Empfang stand eine Platte mit Schinken und Käse und Wein im Kühlschrank. Die Vermieter waren jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben die Tage an dem schönen Pool sehr genossen. Zur Straße kann ich sagen das ich sehr empfindlich bin. Man kann aber die Fenster zu machen und die Klima (ist in jedem Zimmer) an dann war das auch für mich ok.

Das haus ist super schön, die vermieter super nett! Als wir ankamen hatten die Vermieter Obst, Gemüse und Brotzeit bereit gestellt. Auch selbst gemachten Wein und Olivenöl haben wir bekommen. Der Pool war sauber und schön groß. Leider gibt es für die Lage punkte abzug da es bei offenem Fenster SEHR laut durch den Durchgangsverkehr ist. Das haus absolut zu empfehlen, die Lage leider nicht.

Wir sind zu fünft angereist und es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Unterkunft ist exakt wie im Inserat beschrieben. Der Vermieter ist sehr zuvorkommend und engagiert. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen! Anfahrt vom Flughafen ca 10-15 Minuten und ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen ist auf der anderen Straßenseite vorhanden.

Familiäres Domizil im Hinterland von Zadar
Für uns als fünfköpfige Familie war das Haus in Smilcic mit seinen Steinmauern und großen Bäumen sehr urig und geräumig, weitere Personen hätten noch gut Platz gehabt. Besonders das große und sehr gut ausgestattete Poolhaus wurde zum Mittelpunkt unseres Aufenthalts Ende August. Bei Tagestemperaturen knapp über 30 Grad haben wir den großen und blitzsauberen Pool mit Solar-Gartendusche jeden Tag mehrfach genossen, immer draußen gegessen und regelmäßig den großen Grill angeworfen, Feuerholz inklusive. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr unkompliziert, angenehm und zuvorkommend. Früchte, Schinken und Wein fanden sich zur Begrüßung im Kühlschrank! Einkaufen war sehr einfach, der kleine "Studenac" Supermarkt nebenan ist erstaunlich gut sortiert mit sehr gutem Brot, man spricht Englisch. Auch der Früchte- und Gemüseverkauf an verschiedenen Straßenständen ist kein Problem. Alle sind sehr freundlich, man hat in Smilcic das Gefühl, der einzige Tourist zu sein. Geheimtipp zum Baden: Bukova beach am Karinsko more: nur 10 Minuten entfernt: Sauberes, warmes Wasser, seichter Kiesstrand, kaum was los, kostenloses Parken und angenehme Schattenplätze am Ufer! Aber auch der Sandstrand von Nin ist nur 30 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, Zadar mit allen Möglichkeiten 20 Minuten, Kanutouren am Zrmanja River 40 Minuten. Also eine gute Lage, da man von Smilcic aus verschiedene Ziele der Umgebung gut erreichen kann. Tolles Objekt, hervorragende Gastgeber
Wir, Familie mit zwei Teenagern und Hund haben hier zwei wunderschöne Wochen verbracht. Das Haus ist wunderschön und komplett ausgestattet inkl. Fliegengittern und allem was man so braucht. Im Kühlschrank erwartete und ein leckeres Willkommen mit Wurst, Käse und Rotwein. Die Familie ist super nett und immer da, wenn man sie braucht. Ausflugsziele wie Novigrad ( ca. 15 min) oder Zadar und Biograd ( ca. 30 min) sind gut zu erreichen. Empfehlen können wir das Konoba Mika und the Queen in Novigrad mit leckerem Essen. Der Bootsverleih von Novigrad boats oder Luna war super und der Ausflug in den Zrmanja Canyon absolut sehenswert. Was zeitweise störte, unserer Erholung jedoch keinen Abbruch tat, ist die doch manchmal recht laute Straße, insbesondere in den Morgen- und Abendstunden. Dafür liegt der kleine Supermarkt gleich nebenan und der Obst- und Gemüsestand mit Tomaten, Paprika und Melonen ca. 150 m die Straße rauf. We had a lovely stay
We just spent 14 days with our family at this lovely place. So much needed rest with the beauty of the house, pool, fireplace etc. Everything we could possibly think of was there. Towels and beddings were changed during our stay, beaches, stores and Zadar is withing a 25 minute drive. The place has every basics you can think of. We will definitely be back. Thank you for our lovely stay.

Nature and peace close to Zadar
Our stay at this place was simply perfect. We were 10 people and the house impressed us. We stay for a week and didn't even have to leave the place every day. Some days we would just sit at the pool, read a book and enjoy our holiday. Thank you so much for this great week in Zadar :-) we will definitely come back!

A perfect stay
We were staying at Vesna's and Mladen's house for 2 weeks in the july 2019 and it was the perfect surrounding for an active vacation. We came there with 3 couples and found a house in the typical rustic / country-style of croatia. Everything was very clean, modern and was working fine. The pool was clean, the lights worked fine. All airconditioners worked. The kitchen was equipped very well, for us as we prefer to cook ourselves. The houses location is perfect for visiters who want to see different sites in the area of zadar or towards the country side. For every kind of activity the driving time is no longer than 20 to 30 minutes depending on your activity. For smaller shopping there is are 2 groceries directly around the corner of the house. You get fresh bread, fruits or drinks there. For bigger shopping you drive 20 minutes to Zadar and there are all shopping possibilitys. We felt like home in this house and relaxed ourselves the moment we got there. The actual highlight of our stay was the visit of Mladen and his daughter. The prepared a traditional Peka for us and we had a nice evening together. We are very interested in dalmatian tradtitional cooking and they were more than nice hosts. We all decided to comeback to Smilcic one day. Then perhaps as family. The house provides even more space. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Urlaub bei Freunden
Für zwei Wochen waren wir (5 Erwachsene und 5 Kinder) in der Villa Eiche in Smilcic in der Nähe von Zadar zu Gast. Das Ferienhaus ist in ländlicher Umgebung gelegen. Man hat seine Ruhe fernab von vielen Touristen, ist aber auch innerhalb von 20 Minuten in Zadar. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen! Da Smilcic günstig gelegen ist, konnten wir fast alle unsere Ausflugsziele in ca. 30 Minuten erreichen. Das gesamte Objekt ist sehr großzügig gelegen und neu saniert. Alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert und es war ausreichend Platz für uns alle. Der Pool verschaffte uns bei den heißen Temperaturen stets eine willkommene Erfrischung. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer war sehr gut und auch zweckmäßig. In der Küche sind alle notwendigen Utensilien vorhanden und alle Geräte (z.B. Geschirrspüler und Waschmaschine) funktionierten tadellos. Das Schönste aber waren unsere Vermieter vor Ort! Noch nie sind wir mit so viel Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit empfangen und verwöhnt worden. Gleich ob ein Willkommensimbiss, selbst gekelterter Wein, oder das gemeinsame traditionelle Peka-Essen; wir waren überwältigt und begeistert von so viel Gastfreundschaft. Ich kann dieses Ferienhaus und auch unsere Vermieter uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Es hat einfach alles gepasst! Vielen Dank für Alles liebe Familie Crljenko!
