This place need to be shut down
This place needs to be shut down by the health department. They refuse to clean and respond to their guest. I walked into a room that was supposed to cleaner than the last room they gave me, but had blood all over the place. As a result, I wasnā€™t on the property for long and still was charge. The pictures they advertise DO NOT LOOK LIKE WHAT THEY WILL ASK YOU TO STAY IN. Buyer beware!!!

It was obvious the bathroom had been marginally cleaned. Toilet paper was lacking and not a full complement of towels. We had to ask for the usual towels.

Pool was out of service until further notice. This was not noted on website when booking. Small updates have been made but overall cleanliness was not good. Dirty towels were hanging on our shower curtain (they blended in because they were all white). Back of toilet was not clean and behind bathroom doors were dirty. Crumbs were in the pullout sofa.

The front desk lady was friendly, and the room looked nice until I checked the bed. The sheets were not clean, covered in hair and stains. And the bathroom had bugs

Good stay but NO POOL!
This place is ok for the price, service was excellent, room was nice, breakfast was good. My only disappointment was that it is advertised as having a pool and the pool has been permanently closed. Very frustrating since my 10 yr old was looking forward to going for a swim and that is the reason I chose this hotel. Other than the pool issue it was good for the price.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this hotel theres trash all around out side got in and there system's was down so they were writing down check ins the lady asked to see the confirmation number and gave us the wrong room went back and she corrected the mistake and put us in the king suit we had reserved got to the third floor elevator sounds a little sketchy but curtains and drapes have mold we decided at this point to just go with it last night we had to kill roaches in the bathroom oh and fyi because they say they have a pool theirs is closed until further notice

The property had a bad smell. The first room someone had obviously smoked in. Second room didnā€™t smell but had ants all over the window and AC unit. The sheets were clean and the AC worked but thatā€™s it.

Just because room and bed was clean was ok with staying here. Good for a short overnight stay. The pool was not in service. The facility doesnā€™t look very clean and needs a lot of attention. Elevator had a bad smell. No darkening shade in room and curtains falling apart.

The bathroom had mold and mildew on the ceiling above the bathtub and not just a little bit. The staff in the area of the lobby and breakfast room was very excellent this woman that was taking care of the breakfast area was steadfastly cleaning everything! If she was taking care of the rooms they would be wonderful but they were not.

Below average. The hotel pool was close it was not mentioned before reservation found out at check in. Limited choices for breakfast. Phones not working. Beds very uncomfortable, Limited staff. When ask for bedding I was told to come get it myself. The 1st room key did not work. Thank God I only spend one night.

One of the better budget properties Iā€™ve stayed in in the Benton Harbor St. Joe area. Swimming pool was closed when we were there but there were signs posted before check-in and when we asked, they sent us to one of their sister hotels to swim. Definitely will look to return.
