This lovely single story home is centrally located in the heart of Berea. Our home sleeps 4 people. The space includes a full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom offers a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has a full bed. There is a covered carport for your vehicle and 2 steps entering into the home.
We only allow 4 guests to stay at our property. If more than 4 guests end up staying; we will add a $30 charge for each extra guest.

Love Berea
Our stay was great! Quiet, safe neighborhood. There were a few small things that could be improved. No bathmat or hooks for robes/towels in bathroom. The floors were not as clean as they could have been and the bathtub need to be rejuvenated. Everything else was perfect.

Loved this house and quiet neighborhood
This is the 3rd time we have stayed in one of the Carpenter’s houses, but first in this house. Beautifully furnished and on a quiet street, this 2 bedroom ranch was comfortable and homey. We will always book with Laura and Leslie as we return yearly to our alma mater.

Spacious and clean
The unit is spacious and clean. The kitchen and bathroom supplies were convenient and sufficient for our family of 4. The step into the house from the side door is loose and not safe and needs to be repaired. There is some rust on the bathtub drain hardware. My husband had some allergic reaction and thought there were cat(s) in the property (although the property doesn’t allow pets). We were wondering if the previous guests brought pets. Everything else was great.

Berea Stay
Very nice place. Roomy and very clean. Location is great to go anywhere in the Berea area. Our car sits low to the ground so if you stay here be careful getting in and out of the driveway!

Great location
The house is in a nice neighborhood, fairly close to town, and was very clean. Check in was easy and the host communicated well. The carport kept me from getting rained on a couple times. Nice kitchen appliances, loved the ice and filtered water from the fridge. I do have some issues with my back and knees and the tall step into the house was a challenge at times. The queen bed was comfortable. I did not find the couch and loveseat all that comfortable for my back. There is no cable tv but I could stream my Hulu account from my phone. Overall I would recommend it for most travelers. Berea is a neat little town to explore. :-)

Great home away from home!
The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe. The location is perfect. The house was comfortable and kitchen nicely stocked with cooking supplies. Me and my kids stayed for our Mother's Day weekend trip. Definitely recommend and we will stay again when we make another trip!

I rented this location for my daughter and son in law for us to get ready for their wedding and then the wedding night. This place was roomy enough for bridal party to all get ready and then they were able to enjoy a night of peace after their wedding. It was a super convenient location. Very affordable and easy to access. Great job!

Best friends from college had a wonderful weekend reuniting here for EKU Homecoming. This cute home was clean, comfortable, and in a great location for all activities. The neighborhood is nice, and quiet. We would love to stay again someday. Host is very gracious!

Property clean and comfortable and my guests from Colorado and Oregon liked it very much and were very complimentary ..There is much need for a safety railing from side door into house. No matter age of anyone who visits here, it could be a definite fall hazard. I would recommend this property for those visiting Berea. Location is great, close to the things come to Berea to enjoy..

Cute little house. Quiet neighborhood. Nice neighbors. Walking distance to Dairy Queen and Sonic. Comfortable beds. The only thing we would have liked is a washer/ dryer. The dry cleaners was closed and laundrymat down the street shut down.

Berea Bound!
We traveled to Berea as a family for my teen daughter to attend a camp at the college during the day. The house was as pictured and in a nice neighborhood. I appreciate the access to driveway parking. The house was clean and suited us fine. My only suggestion would be to provide more bath towels and washcloths. 3 people staying 3 nights need more than 5 towels. Overall I am satisfied and would return.

Nice, clean and comfortable home in a great location
This property was exactly as advertised and provided an excellent place from which to explore Berea. It is in walking distance to the college and main gallery areas, although driving might be preferable in the hot summer! It is also an easy drive to the amazing Kentucky Artisan Center. The house was clean, the living spaces were amble, and the bed was comfortable. The owners were easy to communicate with and made arrival and departure simple. No problems!

Attractive, clean, and convenient
The property was very easy to access and the owners were amenable to an early check-in for a small fee. The interior is lovely and comfortable. If you have very small children, this may not be the best property for you. The house is well decorated and we were hyper watchful of our two year old and her shenanigans. My only complaint for the stay is that the AC wasn’t keeping up well on a very hot day. We had it set to 72 and rather than cooling the house, the temp rose to 78. Thankfully they have ceiling fans in every room that kept us comfortable.

Clean, comfortable stay in Berea!
We enjoyed our stay over Memorial Day weekend at the Lovely Laurel. It’s located on a very quiet street, the check in process was easy, and the house was extremely clean. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need if you plan to cook, and there’s even a Keurig with a selection of coffees, sugar, and creamer. We especially enjoyed the big, fluffy bath linens, and we both slept very well on the comfortable beds. I only had one minor issue with the extremely slow internet speed, but the owner offered to come to the house and call Spectrum to come check it out, but I declined because we were heading out to do some shopping. She did say that no one has ever complained about the internet speed before, so it could have just been a temporary situation. But overall, it was a great stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again! I have stayed in another one of her properties several times and had a similar great experience.
