The hotel has a great location, within walking distance to popular attractions, and the breakfast buffet has a wide variety of options. However, our stay was marred by several issues. The pillows had a musty smell upon arrival. The room was also dim, with confusing light switches, and felt outdated and dusty. On the second day, housekeeping took our towels without replacing them. When we asked for new towels, it took over 30 minutes to replace. Since there were no phones in the room, we had to down go to the front desk several times. We also noticed stains on the new pillows. Again, we asked the front desk for a replacement, waited, then went down again only to find out the staff had changed shifts. Overall, quality and cleanliness issues, in addition to slow service, made our stay less than ideal.

We spent 2 nights in late August. The hotel is in a great location to the waterfront and a short walk to the Floibanen funicular. There is a public parking lot under the hotel. Amazing morning buffet is provided. Front desk was helpful with suggestions and directions. And several good restaurants right across the street. They do not allow early checkin but they will store bags.

The hotel location was perfect and loved the size of the room. Yet, it did not have air conditioning (A/C) and room was warm. In fact, none of the rooms had A/C. Staff gave us two fans which we kept on 24/7 and opened two windows. Unfortunately, the wharf out front was very noisy until 3:00 AM. So it was quite noisy. Our TV never worked either. We asked maintenance to fix it, but they never did or unsuccessful, so we went without it for 4 nights, 3 days. But the morning breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing!

When we changed rooms to there most expensive room, they made us wait several hours without a room in between. Unacceptable. Staff did nothing. Also, we had lights burned out and were promissed replacement bulbs but NOTHING was done over 2 days of asking. We were left in the dark in their most expensive room on floor 7.
