Just perfect!
Admiral's Cottage was perfect in every way-- clean, beachy, conveniently located, and well-stocked with everything we needed! Our host was very communicative and helpful, going above and beyond to help us navigate transportation to a local music festival. Highly recommend!!

The house was quite cozy and in the perfect neighborhood. The neighbors wete friendly along with their pets and yes the house was pet friendly and were clean. I certainly will be coming back and hopefully I'll be able to get the same property.

Great little getaway at the shore
The house was in a clean safe neighborhood. The property was very well maintained and comfortable. Vanessa our host was available and understanding whenever we needed anything and we would definitely recommend this listing.

Clean Cozy and quiet
We loved having a place near the beach ( in summer season) where we could bring our 2 dogs that offered a fully fenced yard and nice walkable neighborhood. It would have been much more convenient to be able to get to the yard from the house without having to leash up and walk around the house outside to the yard. One gate was left open early one morning we were there and I had to quickly chase my little dog who found the open gate before I saw it. Vanessa lives just upstairs in a separate apartment area and we were concerned about privacy, but after greeting us upon arrival, she gave us our space and privacy. She very kindly left a basket of sundress in the bathroom in case someone forgot to pack shampoo, sunscreen etc. and very pleased to find coffee pods, T.P. and even paper towels. All in all a pleasant stay.

Never Got To Go
When I booked this trip the property description was not accurate. After seeing a review posted on 7/27/24 I reached out to Vanessa to address some of these concerns. Vanessa replied, but when asked if anyone would be at the property the weekend of my trip, she advised there may be people working outside since it is summer, and she suggested I stay somewhere else. From there the discussion with Vanessa was all down hill with her trying to make it my fault that she did not accurately describe the property. The description has since been updated but she was terrible to deal with to the point that we chose to just skip our trip all together. She accused me of concocting this scenario on my own, despite her confirmation that there is an apartment and cameras and her inability to confirm if anyone would be working there. She was just very rude and inconsiderate. I would suggest finding somewhere to stay. It is not worth the hassle of dealing with Vanessa if you have any questions or concerns.

Not as advertised
Vanessa’s property is not as advertised. She lives on the property and this is not mentioned in the listing. She divides her section of the property from the rental with a folding room divider and we could see her head above the room divider when she walked by it so she was in the same room as us leaving us no privacy. She also has cameras on the property which is also not listed and she accused us of having extra guests stay over when we had 2 friends meet us for a drink because she was watching us on cameras. She contacted us about our 2 friends meeting us within 15 minutes of them arriving. We felt scared of Vanessa and unsafe in her home so we left without actually staying over due to all of the privacy violations.

Great weekend getaway spot
Quiet, peaceful relaxing home with a great yard for pups. Far away from noise of OC but a quick drive to the beach. Fenwick state park let’s you bring your pups to the beach too for more dog fun!

A Touch of Comfort
We arrived after dark the outside and inside lights were left on welcoming us. Vanessa always responded quickly to our questions. She provided extra necessities that we might have forgotten, i.e., shampoo, suntan lotion, paper towels, extra toilet paper, etc and information on what was available in Ocean Pines and surrounding areas. The home was very clean and orderly. Pets are welcome. We were vey comfortable. We were not familiar with the TV system, So that was a little frustrating. But all in all a wonderful place to stay.
