Loved it!
I was so impressed with how beautifully equipped the kitchen was, complete with dishwasher, refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, electric kettle and every kind of dish, pot and pan, or utensil one could want. The bathroom was extremely large and modern, and the rest of the room was nicely furnished and comfortable for sleeping, dining, or sitting around. A safe is provided and there's plenty of storage, hangers, etc. Free tea and coffee and always available in the lobby. The location is also great. There's the Charlottenhof train station just steps away, it's an easy walk to Sansoucci and the other palaces, and shopping is also close by. Even the main train station is a walkable distance away. In the 3 days we were there, no one came to clean the room, but I prefer it that way. I assume if we had needed fresh towels or sheets for a longer stay that we could have asked for them. It's almost like living in an apartment, though, and I liked that! I'd definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it.

It was a rough stay. The staff was nice and well-intentioned. Check in was delayed, and the communication around our room availability was poor. The room itself was large and had potential. But it was a hot day and the a/c ā€” something we looked for in this place ā€” was not adequate (and was controlled at the front d). Worse, the water was turned off at two different times, both coinciding with our showers. Lastly, the Expedia listing says that parking is available, but in reality itā€™s limited and needs to be reserved in a process that I was not made aware of. The front desk did comp our breakfast and room tax as a gesture to make up for the experience. As I said, everyone was very nice and tried to help. And the property has potential. It just needs more attention and investment.

Zweimal probiert, zweimal reingefallen. Leider kann ich diese Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen. Defekte Heizung, Urinspritzer an der Wand, defekte HauseingangstĆ¼r, defekte Dusche, fleckige Couch und schlechter Service. 4 NƤchte musste ich im kalten schlafen ohne dass ich ein Ersatzapartment bekommen habe. Selbst die FuƟbodenheizung im Bad ging nicht. Das Duschen viel dementsprechend auch kalt aus. Wirklich interessiert hat das niemanden. Die HauseingangstĆ¼r wird mit der Zimmerkarte geƶffnet. Leider lag die ganzen 5 Tage ein defekt vor. Ein Problemloses betreten des Hauses war nicht mƶglich. Aus der Dusche lief das Wasser bis ins Wohnzimmer. Hier musste ich mehrere HandtĆ¼cher hinlegen um genau das zu vermeiden. Interessiert hat auch das niemanden. Neben der Toilette befinden sich deutliche Urinspritzer die einen fƶrmlich anwidern wenn man sein GeschƤft verrichtet. Wichtig sei auch dass das ganze Haus sehr hellhƶrig ist. Mit GlĆ¼ck hat man keine Zimmernachbarn. Ich bin zwar sehr oft in der Gegend und benƶtige eine Unterkunft aber hier kehre ich nicht mehr ein.

Die Ausstattung der KĆ¼che war etwas dĆ¼rftig, z.b. wƤren ein paar Messer mehr oder generell normale GlƤser, ein Wasserkocher und was absolut unpraktisch war, keine Garderobe, zum Jacken aufhƤngen vorhanden. Auf dem Balkon wƤre eine Sitzgelegenheit auch sehr wĆ¼nschenswert gewesen. Sonst ist die Unterkunft sehr zentral gelegen und durch die dicken Fenster, hƶrt man kaum was vom StrassenlƤrm. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Schƶne Appartements, gerƤumig und zweckmƤƟig eingerichtet. Die Anbindung an den ƶffentlichen Nahverkehr ist sehr gut und Potsdam damit gut zu erkunden. Wir hatten zwei Appartements die Ć¼ber eine VerbindungstĆ¼r zu einem gemacht wurden. Perfekt fĆ¼r eine Familie geeignet.

Das GebƤude liegt ziemlich nah an einer an der Bahnstation Charlottenhof, was es relativ einfach macht, direkt nach Berlin zu fahren. Die Anbindung an Potsdam Mitte ist auch mit Bus und StraƟenbahn schnell zu erreichen. Zu Fuss gut 2 km. Sehr nah sind einzelne Restaurants, aber auch SupermƤrkte. Das Zimmer und Bad hatten eine sehr gute GrĆ¶ĆŸe. Als Appartement angelegt, kann man es dort zu zweit lange gut aushalten. Eine kleine KĆ¼chenzeile zur Selbstverpflegung mit Herd, SpĆ¼lmaschine, KĆ¼hlschrank und einfacher Ausstattung ist vorhanden. Alles ist relativ modern gestaltet und in einem guten Zustand. Gedanken muss man sich bei der Anreise mit dem Auto machen. Die hauseigenen ParkplƤtze sind sehr begrenzt. Parken auf der StraƟe in der Nachbarschaft ist von 20:00-8:00 Uhr frei, ansonsten kostenpflichtig. Aber nichts ist frei. Es gibt ein Parkhaus, etwa 1,2 km entfernt. Dort wird tagesweise abgerechnet. Kann teuer werden. Der Service war leider im Hotel nicht gut. Der Fernseher fehlte und Besteck. Obwohl angesprochen, Ƥnderte sich in 4 Tagen nichts. Als wir am 1. Tag baten, das Zimmer einmal zu saugen und zu wischen, weil es doch sehr sandig und staubig war, war die Begeisterung gering. Wurde aber gemacht. Ansonsten kein Zimmerservice. Um Toilettenpapier mussten wir uns selbst kĆ¼mmern. HandtĆ¼cher wurden nicht gewechselt. Unter dem Bett wurde anscheinend noch nie geputzt, was nicht schƶn aussah als mir etwas unters Bett fiel.
