A good place for a short trip
We stayed here for 3 nights as a couple in early December. The hotel was in a great location, very close to the subway and train station, to the Berlin TV Tower as well as shops and places to eat. The room was just the right size for two people and the beds were really comfortable however the bathroom was a little small for the length of our stay but wasn’t a huge problem. The staff were friendly and helpful and always available if we needed anything. We also appreciated being able to store our luggage before checking in and after checking-out as our flight home wasn’t until the late afternoon. The only problem we had was a bad smell which I’m assuming came from the bathroom and seemed to get worse when the heating was on in the room so we turned it off and kept the door shut all the time. Overall, I would say it’s a good, budget place to stay for 1-2 nights.

It is a convenient location, and the property is okay, might need a little maintenance. It can get noisy as you can hear people talking and closing doors etc. Some staff members were not very approachable though.

Berlin xmas market trip
Excellent hotel and location. Staff friendly and welcoming plus spoke english to ease the stay. Rooms spotless with great bathroom and loads of hot water. Toiletries provided were also excellent and you could chose the frequancy of room cleaning. Only slight downside was the heating was a little noisey because the room was to quiet but not that intrusive to keep you awake.

The room was extremely small. I had two suitcases with me as I was traveling back to the US and I could not even fit them in the room. I had to place the big suitcase into the bathroom and a small carry-on suitcase in the actual bedroom. Based on the picture and the single bed, I figured that the room would be small, but not that small. If you’re just traveling with a backpack, it’s probably totally fine or you need to plan ahead when packing so that you have a separate bag just for this hotel stay if it’s just like one night. Overall, I probably would not stay there again as for maybe $5 to $10 more I can book a much nicer property with bigger rooms.

The hotel is overall not bad. Staff is also good. But the hotel is very old, there’s only one elevator but still very slow and old( It takes 5 minutes to go down/up. And the room’s heating system doesn’t work well, rooms are cold. Not recommended for long stayings. Only for short stayings could be good. Staff is really nice!

À cause d’une modification à mon horaire de vol, j’ai dû prolonger mon séjour à Berlin de quelques heures. Mon hôtel étant complet, j’en ai recherché un à proximité d’Alexanderplatz pour pouvoir me rendre facilement à l’aéroport. Après avoir procédé à l’enregistrement avec la réceptionniste qui avait l’air complètement défoncée, je suis monté à ma chambre pour y déposer ma valise. En ouvrant la porte, j’ai constaté une forte odeur de cigarette dans la chambre. Dégoûté, je suis immédiatement descendu à la réception pour demander une chambre non fumeur. Lorsque j’ai expliqué la situation à la réceptionniste, j’ai été stupéfait lorsqu’elle m’a en quelque sorte reproché de ne pas lui avoir signalé le problème au moment de l’enregistrement, plusieurs heures auparavant, alors que tout cela venait de se produire dans les cinq dernières minutes… Une autre problématique avec la réception découle du fait qu’il n’y a pas quelqu’un 24h/24h. En effet, comme je devais quitter pour l’aéroport à 2h30 AM, il n’y avait personne à qui remettre ma clé de chambre. Pour ce qui est de la chambre très minimaliste, le principal défaut est certainement la douche qui est minuscule. Il est impossible pour un adulte de taille moyenne de se laver sans se frapper les coudes contre les parois de la douche ou de s’accrocher sur la robinetterie.

Great location. It was quite warm in our room, so we had to sleep with the windows open, which was noisy. Other than that, the staff was extremely helpful & attentive and overall we would stay here again.
