12 kms from Honfleur, in the heart of the village of Berville sur Mer, charming cottage where tranquility combines with elegance. Traditional half-timbered thatched cottage renovated with great taste. Around the fireplace in the cathedral dining room, antique furniture and paintings coexist with the modern and very functional comfort offered by dishwashers, washing machines, television with foreign channels, internet, etc. Very large veranda overlooking the garden. Bathroom and toilet on the ground floor and two beautiful bedrooms upstairs (one double bed and two single beds) in a row with toilet. Ideal, therefore, for couples with children. Very large enclosed garden, landscaped and planted with barbecue, pergola, swing, etc. A few hens behind the house will bring you fresh eggs every morning!Private parking, towels and sheets are provided free of charge. Animals are accepted (under the responsibility of their owners). Grocery, bar, tobacco, bread store at 50 meters.

The ideal place!
We were completely happy with this gorgeous cottage in a very sleepy and not too far removed village. Honfluer is only 10 mins drive away - perfect really. Considering the price, this is a five star rating for us. The place is clean and spacious. Beds are comfy! Shower is amazing! Wifi very strong. The host was very friendly and relaxed. Plenty of chopped wood for fire and bbq. Like I say - the ideal stay! We will come back some day! Especially for Pipa the sweet goat. : )

Better even then expected. A lovely cottage. The pictures don’t do the place justice.
We had a most wonderful week in this cottage. Comfortable beds, nice and cosy looking furniture and gadgets everywhere. The place made us feel very much at home. Lovely garden. I can’t say enough nice things about our stay. Ursula is a very pleasant lady (hostess) and we will defenetly go back here.

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage in early January. The cottage was warm and cosy and very nicely furnished. There was a fantastic log burner and a plentiful supply of wood. Although we didn't make full use of either the conservatory or large garden, both are fantastic facilities and in milder weather would be heavily used. The owners made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. Normandy, and in particular Honfleur and Trouville, are well worth visiting at this time of year. There are not many tourists around but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants open and there is no problem finding either a table or car parking!

A great beautiful spacious cottage in very quiet village near the river Seine and close to Honfleur
This a beautiful and historic 2 bedroom Normandy style cottage with all the amenities you could wish for. It is very spacious inside and has huge gardens and secure parking within the grounds and also at the rear. There is also a tame goat at the rear of the property that loves to be fed. There is also satellite TV and internet. The owners are fantastic and very helpful. The cottage is in a great Location not far (10 minutes drive) from pretty and historic Honfleur and many other great tourist locations. We stayed as a family of four and had a great time. Would highly recommend this cottage for a great break in beautiful Berville Sur Mer in Normandy.

Picturesque country cottage
We spent 4 nights in this lovely cottage in Berville Sur Mer. It's location was approximately 10 minutes drive from the Pont de Normandie & Honfleur. Stephanie and Fabrice were very friendly and welcoming, had fresh flowers arranged for our arrival and came to welcome us on our first evening. They gave us some great ideas of places to go and showed us round the cottage and how to work the heating, TV etc. The cottage is very pretty, in a shabby chique style, well equipped and maintained & clean, although kitchen cupboards could do with a tidy up (a minor detail). My husband and I travelled with my elderly Mother and the second bedroom is accessed through the main bedroom upstairs, it did have an ensuite toilet which was useful, but not ideal for a party of adults, but we managed ok. I did not realise that this was the layout, possibly I misunderstood the description. Apart from that the cottage is lovely! We had fantastic weather for the end of March and spent a lot of time in the garden and visiting local towns, highlights were Honfleur, Etretat & Veules Les Rose. We also went to see the Bayeux tapestry Deauville, Trouville, Arromanche and up to Beaumont en Auge. We travelled with our little dog and took him to a local vet to have his tablets and passport stamped before returning to the uk. We used a lovely vet called Patricia Lardinois in Honfleur and paid her €38 (I don't know if this is good or bad having never done this before) but she was very kind and efficient. There is a tiny tabac in Berville sur mer where you can buy baguettes and croissants (if you are up early enough!) but there are a number of supermarkets around, the E.Leclerc (I think it was) in Honfleur is the closest but shut on Sunday mornings. I would definitely recommend this accommodation if you like a comfy rustic place to stay. We had a lovely holiday. Thank you!!

Séjour très agréable
Les enfants et moi avons passé un agréable séjour. La maison est pleine de charme et pratique. Idéale pour un couple avec des enfants. Les chèvres ont eu beaucoup de succès et les enfants étaient très tristes de les quitter. La véranda est un réel plus, surtout par temps de pluie.

La maison est vraiment agréable. On se sent rapidement chez soi et même notre chat craintif l'a adopté dans les 5 minutes suivant notre arrivée. Une cheminée ajoute au cocooning après une bonne rando le long de l'estuaire de la seine. Pleines de petites attention La proprio serviable et discrète avec des conseils utiles. Merci encore
