Very comfortable one night stay
A very clean, comfortable night’s stay. Clean, crisp white bedding, slept so well. It’s a Grade II listed Georgian building. Perfectly cooked breakfast with very personal touches. Loved the interior decor and furniture very tastefully done. Garden to the rear is stunning. Pablo and John are so hospitable and the attention to detail is very evident. Pablo, I loved talking gardening and all things interior with you. Thanks for directing us to the perfect antique shop in Newark. Manjit & Santokh

Amazing stay
Fantastic stay at The Lion. Hosts where magnificent...helped us with taxis and check-in logistics as we were attending a wedding in Kelham. Rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was brilliant. Cannot praise them enough!

Pablo and John very friendly and attentive. Beautiful room, warm and cosy, comfortable bed, massive immaculate bathroom with gorgeous stain glass window. Breakfast freshly cooked to order. Fantastic service all round. Wished we could have stayed longer to appreciate it’s splendour. Looking to return in the summer to enjoy the gorgeous garden area.
