The upper apartment is occasionally occupied by the landlord himself.

There are 2 fully furnished apartments available for our guests. Equipped with 4 beds each (bedroom with double bed and children's room with bunk beds), a bright daylight bathroom and an open kitchen with dining area. The spacious living area offers an open fireplace, a cozy seating area with satellite TV, free WiFi, and a balcony with a wonderful view of the Valais 4,000s.

The house is quietly located in the Alpmatten, near the forest. Approx. 800 m from the cable car station, approx. 10 min. Walk. Not far from the ski lift and the road leading down the valley, which becomes a winter hiking trail to Betten in winter.

Hatten super Wetter, tolle Wanderungen. In der Wohnung alles vorhanden, nur der Weg ab der Straße mit Koffern nicht gut. Wäre gut gewesen wenn der kleine Pfad zumindestens gemäht wäre.

Traumhafte Umgebung
Die Unterkunft liegt auf der traumhaften Bettmeralp. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist etwas beschwerlich, allerdings wird man durch traumhafte Ruhe und einen wunderschönen Ausblick entschädigt. Ich würde diese Unterkunft sofort wieder buchen!!!

Het was een prima plek voor een week vakantie. Bij het boeken was het niet helemaal duidelijk, dat je niet met de auto naar het appartement kon. Achteraf was dat geen probleem en hebben we ons prima vermaakt in het autovrije gebied

Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im Chalet Thomson. Die Wohnung ist recht eng und die Zimmer klein aber im grossen und ganzen gut ausgestattet. Sie liegt abgelegen am Rande des Dorfes. Skilifte sind schnell und gut erreichbar. An- und Abreise durch Tiefschnee-Trampelpfad kann unter Umständen schwierig werden. Was wir geschätzt haben war die vorhandenen GWM-Tabs/Toilettenpapier und Seife.

Séjour vraiment très agréable, repos et de très belles ballades, nous sommes rentrés ressourcés, avec l'envie de revenir l'année prochaine. Le logement est conforme aux descriptions, chaleureux et bien équipé. Seul bémol, il n'a pas été simple de trouver le chalet à notre arrivée, l'ajout d'un plan avec l'emplacement du chalet serait un bonus xxl.

Das Häuschen steht ziemlich abgelegen, was natürlich absolute Ruhe bedeutet. Der Weg zum Inserat war allerdings sehr schwierig und mit Koffer fast unmöglich. Es war allgemein sehr sauber aber es kam ein paar kleine Mängel. Allgemein war es jedoch sehr gut und ich hab mich die 8 Tage wohlgefühlt. Für einen Urlaub allein zum entspannen und wandern ist es perfekt.

wunderbarer Blick!
Freundlich, hell, warm... ein bisschen eng für 4 erwachsene Personen; alle Küchenmaterialien etwas umständlich untergebracht, weil die Küche zu klein ist, geht aber trotzdem gut, wir haben viel gekocht. Dass die Wohnung im "Unterdorf" ist, macht der Schräglift wieder wett.

Unkompliziert und entspannend
Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur erwies sich als unkompliziert und wir erhielten schnelle Antworten auf unsere Fragen. Der Check-in gestaltete sich ebenso einfach und einwandfrei. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft und die Lage sehr nahe der Skilifte. Das Haus, insbesondere die Küche ist äusserst gut ausgestattet, weswegen jedoch wenig Staumöglichkeit für Einkäufe gibt: uns ist dies jedoch lieber so als umgekehrt (viel Stauraum und spärlich ausgestattete Küche) - also ein großes Lob an den Inhaber! Bedauerlicherweise funktionierte das WIFI nicht, was etwas unangenehm war denn unserer Tochter hatte Hausaufgaben zu erledigen wozu sie Internet für Recherchen gebraucht hätte. Die Wohnung strahlt eine Gemütlichkeit aus und gerade die Küchenausstattung ermöglicht entspannte Abende nach einem Ski- oder Wandertag. Schade dass sie nächstes Jahr schon vergeben ist... Ein extra großes Dankeschön auch an den Inhaber, dass die Wohnung an Hundebesitzer vermietet wird: wir verstehen dass dies nicht immer selbstverständlich ist und größeres Vertrauen voraussetzt. Wir sind deshalb immer betont dankbar wenn unser Hund uns begleiten kann und neue Wege erschnüffeln kann.

Toller Urlaub, traumhafte Lage
Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig in den unteren Alpmatten. Genau richtig, um einige Tage entspannen zu können. Insgesamt bietet die Wohnung ausreichend Platz für eine Familie mit vier Personen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man für eine Woche Urlaub braucht. Im Winter ist die Wohnung sehr gut mit den Skis erreichbar. Durch den Schräglift ist das Dorfzentrum jederzeit sehr gut erreichbar. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

Schöner Urlaub im Haus Thomson
Hat alles bestens geklappt.Die neue Kücke ist zwar klein aber komfortabel und gut eingerichtet.Der Geschirrspüler sehr praktisch und hilfreich.Auch das bequeme Sofa haben wir sehr geschätzt.

Vue magnifique
Le chalet est fonctionnel et propre, son principal avantage est la vue magnifique. Attention toutefois, ce chalet est excentré par rapport au village et la personne de contact ne fournit aucune autre indication que le nom du chalet. Nous aurions aimé être informés des détails pratiques pour trouver la maison, de l'impossibilité de se rendre à pieds avec des bagages de l'arrivée du téléphérique jusqu'à elle car il faut traverser tout le village enneigé et pentu. Bref, prévoir d'appeler un taxi neige qui vous emmène pour 40chf de l'autre côté. Nous avons pu profiter de la neige lors de la dernière semaine de la saison même si la fermeture, en cette fin de saison, du petit remonte pente proche du chalet (ici aussi, cela nous aurait arrangés d'être prévenus) nous a contraints à faire d'immenses marches en portant les skis. Sinon le village est agréable et les pistes du coin splendides.

Die Lage der Wohnung in der Nähe des Schlepplifts ist sehr gut. Die Wohnung (und vor allem die Küche) ist prima ausgestattet und vom Balkon aus hat man eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Berge.

We haven been in haus thomson several times. The kitchen and bathroom is renewed. The village of bettmeralp is a beautiful skiresort, and the surroudings are superb. Around the house there is plenty of snowfun for the kids. EVerything was clean in the house. The furniture is a little old, but the kitchen now has an oven and a dishwasher. The village and the haus is somewhat expensive but the view and snowfun makes it worth
