The Bay Breeze Cottage is a three bedroom, two bathroom home located 2 blocks from the beach and 3 blocks from Main Street in Bay St Louis. It is in the historical district, is walking distance from the marina, beach, piers, restaurants, shops, and bars. This charming historical home has the original floors, original bead board ceilings, and the original doors from The Mockingbird Cafe dating back over 120 years. This home's architecture is referred to as a shotgun house. Shotgun homes were built after the Civil War until the 1920's, and are believed to have originated in New Orleans, but are found all over the South. The Bay Breeze Cottage is decorated with a coastal feel with upgraded luxury details such as complimentary bath robes, toiletries, beach towels, laundry essentials, wifi, and satellite television. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the cosy, screened-in front porch, and walk to some of the best restaurants on the Gulf Coast. Bay Breeze Cottage is also held to a high standard in cleanliness. You will not share a bed with strangers here, because our duvets are washed before every arrival of new guests. Adorable cottage
This precious cottage was just as described! So much history! The decor and colors were fabulous. Plenty of room for a family of 6. Enjoyed having cocktail hour on the screened in porch! Neighbors were very friendly. Heather was very responsiveness and helpful. This cottage is definitely a place we will rent again!
