This is a rebranded Hampton (next to a caged liquor store) that is under "renovation" but that might be more of an excuse to not keep it clean than an actual renovation under way. We booked 2 non-refundable nights (realized our mistake immediately after booking) and didn't stay the second night because of the giant roaches that came out after dark. Staff wasn't rude since we weren't either, but also not helpful and did not care at all.

Outstanding breakfast with a full spread of hot choices, well maintained. We look for exactly this type of hotel--older but well-maintained, competent staff, clean, affordable. Would definitely stay here again. We just completed a week long trip with 5 hotel nights, all in this price range, and this one was far and away the best.

My room was decent for The price point it could not be beat- The staff at The Hamilton was very kind and helpful. I stood for a week and the breakfast bar really was a nice touch, as well. Overall would recommend!
