Booked to stay here whilst we were in Brum to see the Foo Fighters at Villa Park. It's in a lovely peaceful location, but only about 10'ish minutes walk to Broad Street. Free parking, great welcome from Rachel & fab room. We had a drink & some lunch at their bar/restaurant next door & received amazingly welcoming & friendly service from Lita - she is just the friendliest lady ever. Slept really well & enjoyed the cooked to order breakfast the morning after. We couldn't find fault with anything, we are definitely staying here the next time we are in Brum.

Lovely!
Stay was lovely oozes class when you walk in. Comfy bed and nice toiletries. Communication was good as unmanned for some of the time but nice touch to have fresh milk in the reception area where you can help yourself to coffee and water. Only reason i marked down a star on cleanliness was when I pulled back the curtains this morning three were a pair of boxer shorts behind the curtain. Definitely not mine! Highfield restaurant provided a lovely breakfast, would stay again.

Disappointed. We’ve stayed before. It’s gone down.
Very noisy. Water tank filling constantly. Called reception at 11.30 because we couldn’t sleep with the noise. It calmed down. But was back early the next morning. Breakfast was inedible. Hard bacon, vinegar eggs, tough bread. Tasteless coffee.
