This renovated apartment features spectacular views of the ocean just across the road, towards the community of Birch Bay. The new kitchen, dining room, and living room have everything you’ll need for your Beach Holiday. There is one large bedroom. A queen size sofa bed in the living room accommodates two extra guests. There are a myriad of options for outdoor living; patios with Adirondack chairs for lounging, and small tables for outside eating. In addition to the patios there are plenty of outside shared amenity spaces. There’s a covered gazebo with a state of the art barbecue, a fish cleaning station in the back of the property for those that like to go fishing, clamming, or crabbing and a wood fire pit by the creek. There is excellent Wi-Fi and a 43 inch television with streaming content. An electric fireplace makes it cozy in the winter. The entire property can be rented and is ideal for large business or family groups as it can accommodate up to 20 people.
The entire exterior property is available to you, but the adjacent patio is exclusively for your own use. There is a outside sink for cleaning fish, clams, crabs and preparing food on our large fabulous BBQ.
The neighborhood is charming and full of little seaside cottages. It is possible to walk for miles on the beach, to the Birch Bay State Park and on a gravel, coastal walk near the center of the village. A small grocery store, fun beach bars, fabulous coffee shop, and restaurants, and a liquor store are a short drive away, bike ride or walkable. The area is great for fishing, crabbing, clamming, kayaking, boating and paddle boarding. There’s access to Terrell creek from the back of our property. The Semiahmoo resort and marina and the little town of Blaine Washington are minutes away in a car. Birch Bay State Park is a 194-acre Washington state park located nine miles south of Blaine in Whatcom County. The park has 8,255 feet of saltwater shoreline on Birch Bay and 15,000 feet of freshwater shoreline along Terrell Creek. Check out our guide to the area.
The neighborhood is very walkable and great for bicycling. Plenty of parking is provided on the property. This unit is entitled to one parking spot and there is plenty of parking across the road in the beach access parking lot. Please be aware overnight parking on the beach access lot is not allowed.
Please note that we do not supply firewood for the fire pit. You can purchase firewood at the market in Birch Bay.
