Rooms are relatively inexpensive. The air conditioner worked well. The bathroom had some of the elements/fixtures coming out from the wall. There was a ceiling leak in the fitness center which made some of the equipment unusable. But the staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was a nice selection at breakfast.

Mid-grade hotel.
I think overall the hotel is nice. The rooms esthetic has been updated so that was a plus when I entered. My bathroom sink however, the plug what basically stuck in the drain which made washing hands/faces quite difficult since the water pressure is actually good (the sink filled up fast). Also, on my first day, the breakfast items weren't refilled the entire time I was down there. And on the second day, one of the employees was in line to get food (making customers wait for her) and then took it to the back. That seemed a little odd. Especially since the breakfast area was closing in less than 30 minutes, you would think she could have waited. But the front desk staff was very warm and welcoming. All things mentioned, I would stay here again.

Hotel overall was fine. Easy on and off expressway. The room had an updated sink, but the floors was old laminate, echo from the TV, not very warm feeling. Front doors do not have electric opening, so hard to get in with a cart full of personal items.

The young man that checked us in was friendly and did his job well! The hotel was clean and room was beautiful! The hot tub was put of prder so that was a bummer. Otherwise I would most definitely stay again if ever passing thru again!

The bathroom door would not shut. Then maintenance worked on it and it would hit you from behind if you did not catch it. The breakfast was mediocre. The cereal machines were broken, and outdated pastries. Very disappointed with this Country Inn Brand.

Country Inn and Suites in Bloomington Illinois was great. It is a safe atmosphere and the rooms are clean and neat. There are no bugs in the room! The only problem is the parking lot adjacent from the restaurant/bar that always has broken glass on their pavement so if you take your pups for a walk- beware of this. We stop here occasionally and it is the best hotel in the area, although the price is up there too. Dogs are $20 each so it really adds up. Motel 6 near there has all kinds of bugs in the bathrooms but doesn't charge a dog fee. We'll go back to the Country Inn & Suite because of the cleanliness of their rooms!! And the staff is friendly.

Bathroom, although spotlessly clean, had no hook to hang things and no shelf to put things on. The lighting was too dim for shaving, and the marble floor was dangerously slippery with wet feet.
