One of the shortest walks to Main Street, Blowing Rock available from the lovely Chetola Resort! Enjoy your time in the mountains in a spacious, tastefully furnished condo in the Chetola Resort (https://chetola.com/). It is also only a short walk to Bass Lake, Chetola Lake and the Outlets. The deck overlooks a wooded area with a stream that runs down from Bass Lake and winds its way down the resort property to Chetola Lake. In addition to a spacious living room on the main floor, there is a second living room with a large flat screen TV on the lower level. The bedroom on the lower level enjoys a full private bath and easy access to the second living room.

Hurricane in Blowing Rock
Our family stayed at this wonderful condo immediately after the hurricane hit this area. My daughter goes to App State and we attempted to visit during family weekend. The owner of this property went above and beyond to help us reach this area and have a place to sleep for the night. They stayed in constant communication to make sure we were safe and that we had everything that we needed. The condo was clean, well decorated, and perfect for 6 adults. The location is perfectly located next to downtown Blowing Rock. We will absolutely come back for another visit during better weather and better times for the mountains.

Lovely condo in Blowing Rock
Very roomy condo in Chetola. Well appointed and very clean. Perfect for our group of adults with a full bath for each bedroom. We were able to walk to Main St (although it is a bit hilly). Would definitely stay again next time we are visiting family in the area.

Had a lovely 4-night stay. All of us LOVED the property. It was clean, well-stocked, and offered both private space and great group areas as well. Most of all, the host was absolutely top-notch - a great communicator and sincerely cares about his guests having an excellent stay. There was a challenging experience when we first arrived due to some maintenance being done by the Resort. The host did an amazing job of making sure it was handled expeditiously. Definitely coming back!

Best place we have stayed at Chetola!
We have been marking an annual visit to Chetola since my kids were small children. They are now 17 and 19! We normally rent through Chetola but came across this listing on VRBO. It was perfect! Very clean, updated, comfortable beds, great location, and thoughtful additions such as coffee pods, shampoo/conditioner in the showers, laundry pods, etc. The downstairs ‘gameroom’ was great for the teens to hangout. We will definitely be staying here again! thank you!

We stayed for four nights in a three bedroom condo at the Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock, NC. The facility was immaculate and very well appointed. My daughter and grandchildren enjoyed many of the amenities of Chetola including fishing, playing pickle ball, swimming in the heated pool, and kayaking on Chetola Lake. The only point of contention was when my daughter went to the front desk to get a card to allow her to take the children to the pool. She was told that unless the property owner had paid extra for use of the facilities that she could not use any of the property facilities whatsoever. Fortunately, I found a recreation card in the owner's notebook. This confirmed the ability to use all such amenities. This was likely an oversight on my part for not realizing that presenting such a card was necessary. Overall however, a wonderful experience.

The resort area and condo itself was absolutely perfect for our family of 6. The condo had everything we needed & then some extras that most places would never think of. With four daughters we completely appreciated that it had multiple bathrooms so they could get ready in their separate spaces. We stayed at this condo in early April 2024. 2 70 year olds, 1 40 year old and 2 kids. All of us had our own spaces - I had the full basement which included a bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath, a half bath and a second living room. I LOVED the second living room to work while we were there! The kids and grandparents stayed on the main floor. the grandparents had a primary bedroom with bathroom attached. The kids had the twin bedroom with the hall full bath. The living room upstairs is very large and the dining table has plenty of seating for everyone - including 2 extra chairs that are in the primary suite and the table even has leaves to expand it if needed. This condo was the first rental we have ever stayed at that had absolutely everything we needed! You can tell the owners really love their place. We loved the bar as an extra place to access drinks during the week instead of everyone being in the kitchen at one time. Lots of games and puzzles downstairs for all ages. Good book options in the primary and throughout the place. We stayed on a very cold week so we did not walk to downtown BR but we could have. Downtown BR is adorable with a great big playground and lots of shopping and restaurants. We used the indoor pool in the resort. It was a lot of fun to have that option for the kids!

This property was the perfect place for our family of 4 to relax, unwind and enjoy this beautiful area prior to the Christmas Holiday. The short walk to main street made it convenient to shop, eat and enjoy downtown Blowing Rock. The hiking trails on the property and adjacent were an excellent way to get our hikes in without having to drive to a trailhead somewhere else.

The condo exceeded all of our expectations. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything that we needed. Usually I take a good knife and frypan with me but the kitchen was well equipped and I didn’t need to bring anything. There were some simple, but tasteful seasonal decorations, which made it feel like we were actually staying in someone’s home. We would definitely consider staying there again if we were in Blowing Rock.

This was our second time to this property. Both times have been wonderful, and this time we enjoyed the fall leaves and some shopping/hiking. The unit is immaculate and I appreciate that guests remove shoes at the door. Makes for a great experience with clean floors. Both master baths are huge and our two young boys enjoyed the big tub with jets. The kitchen is well stocked with everything u need. The shampoo and conditioner and soaps provided smell so good! Can’t wait to come back!
