You will feel just like you are staying in the trees in this magical cabin. The home overlooks the beautiful Toccoa River and Chattahoochee National Forest. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee on the deck while listening to the sounds of the river. You may experience the thrill of seeing a family of deer or blue herons fishing in the river. There is just so much to enjoy! When you are ready to enjoy the river, you just walk down the hill to get in or stop by the fire pit for the view. You can grill on the deck that has a view of the creek. When it rains you have a game table with plenty of board games/puzzles and plenty of movies to choose from. It’s a space to make memories in.

We are 7 miles up Aska Road from the town of Blueridge, near the rapids of Toccoa. We are a mile from Shallowford Bridge where they have tube rentals. The Lilly Pad is a block away where they have fishing, mini golf, and mining activities for kids. The famous River restaurant is a mile away. Hiking trails all around. 3 miles away from Falls Branch Falls. We are 3.5 miles from Aska Farms wedding venue. 10 miles from Mercier Orchards. 12 miles from Bear Claw Vineyards, 16 miles from Serenberry Vineyards and Winery.
We live off a paved road so no need for four-wheel drive. Parking is at the top of the stairs. Additional parking for more than two cars is available by request.
There is a downstairs that is unavailable to guests at this time. It is where the washer and dryer are kept and is available to you by request. Please message the host for the washer and dryer access code.
Another thing to note: there are two cabins on the property. The firepit is for this cabin, you will not have to share. You are welcome to the mountain yard for firewood for the firepit. We do not provide firewood. We recommend picking up a starter log for the fireplace/ pit, they can be found at the local grocery store, Food Lion, and Ingles.
We have a Gas grill.
Swim at your own risk. Keep in mind that sometimes the river is very fast and deep, and other times it is very slow and shallow. It all depends on how much rain we get.
Trash is picked up at the end of the walkway towards the other cabin. You will see an outside trash can that you place your filled trash bags in.
We have provided enough paper products to get you started during your stay. If a stay is longer than 4 days, the guest will be responsible for replenishing their own additional supplies.
