We live off a paved road; no need for four-wheel drive. Parking is at the top of the stairs. Additional parking for more than two cars is available by request.

Enjoy easy access via a paved road—no four-wheel drive needed. Parking is located on the landing above the cabin, with stairs leading down to the entrance. Guests should be comfortable navigating stairs, including a separate flight of stairs down to the river.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the river, but swim at your own risk. River depth and current vary with weather conditions—sometimes fast and deep, other times calm and shallow. Please use caution at all times.

There are two cabins on the property, however the fire pit is reserved exclusively for guests of this cabin. Enjoy peaceful evenings outdoors without interruption.

Our family had the best last minute getaway at the Riverfront cabin! Our host made it quick and easy to book. Our children absolutely loved waking up to the river just feet away and it’s where we would spend our mornings. The cabin had everything we could need for our stay and made our Christmas a memorable one.

My wife and I went on a 31st Anniversary trip!! We had an absolute blast!! Loved the rustic cabin!! Everything was clean and cozy!! Very close to Toccoa River Restaurant!! Cabin located on Toccoa River! We shopped, rode the Scenic Railway, wine tasting at Bear Claw Winery, had dinner at The Black Sheep that was amazing! Hiked to Falls Branch water fall and had a picnic about 3 miles from Cabin! Even drove 40 minutes one day to Murphy, NC to the Casino!! The scenery is amazing! So much fun!! Thank you to the owners for the great hospitality!!

Wonderful place to stay

This was a great get away for me to take my grandchildren during their spring break. They loved being on the river and hearing the water. The screened in back porch with swinging bed was a plus! Highly recommend for a peaceful stay.

Great place to stay with the family!

Amazing mountain cabin, wouldn’t change anything. The owners are very attentive and care about their guests. The river was a few steps away and the fire pit was a great place for roasting marshmallows! We’ll be back.

A cabin on a river with good beds!

What more could you ask for??" My wife, son, and I stayed here for 4 nights. We try to do a cabin stay every year around Xmas. Typically we have to cut the trip short because it's impossible to get comfortable in some of these places...old furniture, uncomfortable beds that are too small and make too much noise. This is the first cabin we've stayed in where I've actually been able to sleep well, and what a difference it makes!!The location is absolutely perfect. Right on the Toccoa River. The sounds of water constantly rushing bring peace and a sense of calm while you're hanging out by the fire or having morning coffee staring at the waters. This was by far the selling point for us for this trip.The cabin is great. The couch is comfortable, the beds are fantastic, and it has all the standard stuff you would need. We were able to cook every night, come in for some TV to warm up whenever we spent too long by the river and got cold. The size is great, and the layout is interesting. The decorations for xmas were a nice touch, too. I can't say enough good things. We will definitely be coming back here! Hopefully during the summer, if we can swing it, because all I wanted to do the whole trip was swim and fish in that river!! Thank you so much for letting us enjoy this small piece of nature for a few days.

This place is awesome.

Me and my wife stayed here for a weekend get away before Christmas. The pictures don’t do the cabin justice it is super clean and cozy inside and the hosts are available and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Anniversary Get a way

I wish the code to gain entry would be sent the day before as the day of we were traveling and not seeing the code I confused the code from VRBO to access the app as the code to get in the door which of course didn't work. Thankful the owners were next door. Turns out the code went to my spam.. Loved the cabin and we had a wonderful stay.

very relaxing and somewhat peaceful

Cabin is close enough to the highway to hear loud vehicles but really not a lot of traffic. Back porch with large swing bed was a wonderful place to relax and listen to the water cascading over the rock in the river below. Very clean and well furnished. Would recommend to others.

Perfect Romantic Getaway

We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary in Blue Ridge. The Riverhouse was perfect for a romantic getaway. The property listing was accurate, and actually exceeded our expectations when we arrived. The Host responded to questions in a prompt fashion and was very friendly. The house was clean and well equipped for a quick trip or longer-term stay. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend!

Fairly remote cabin ideal for a peaceful getaway. @7 miles from Blue Ridge but only 1/2 mile from great restaurant in the other direction. Comfortable accomodations that are well kept.

Relaxing Adventure

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin! It was clean and very comfortable. We had great communication with the manager. The location along the River was fantastic! But it was also very close to so many amazing activities and areas to see. We give this our highest recommendation for anyone to stay and will be back ourselves to enjoy it again!

Family Summer Retreat 2024

Railing from road to cabin needs repair. Fire pit area needs some attention. Picture of fire pit area looked much better than it actually was. We did enjoy our stay and the cabin offered all we needed. Clean and well equipped.
