Gold Dust Mountain Campground - Willamette National Forest
Explore, Recharge and Unwind in the Willamette National Forest. Pitch your tent in our circle of cliffside trees! Nestled in the mountains between Eugene and Bend, off of the infamous king road in the historic town of Mckenzie Bridge. Our 1940s homestead sits on 2 acres of beautiful untouched forest and the campsite sits on the back 1 acre in a beautiful grove of moss-covered Maples and Fir trees. Come unplug and unwind from it all in one of Oregon's recreational paradises!
Located at the top of the Historic Mckenzie River Valley of the Willamette National Forest. Our 1940s cabin and homestead sits on 2 acres of beautiful untouched forest, near one of the world's largest spring-fed rivers. Historically, the area has been known for the Lucky Boy Mine which was one of the largest gold-producing mines in all of Oregon.
During the summer nights, listen to the frogs in the creek below and the fireflies buzz through the trees as the birds sing. Our property is backed up to 200,000 acres of National Forest which means you will have complete seclusion from everything but nature and king street. King is known to be one of the scenic drives through the Mckenzie. The perfect cleanse from the hustle and bustle of the city.
