Excellent location
This was the perfect retreat for our family of 4. The cabin was clean and area quiet and quaint. It was conveniently located to many great hiking trails and waterfalls (blue pool, sahalie falls, Koosah falls, clear lake and only an hour to sisters and 1.5 hours to Bend (easy day trip). Michael was so responsive and easy to communicate with! I highly recommend this rental!

Beautiful grounds on the river
We enjoyed staying in the Hoover Cabin. The grounds are lovely. It was fun for us to stay in a old time cabin and we spent most of our time on the screened porch. For some, it might feel like a snug fit.

Picture perfect and so much to do!
We stayed here over the 4th of July holiday. There were 3 adults and our dog. The cabin and it's surroundings are beautiful. As others have said, it was tempting to sit on the screened porch and watch the river the whole time we were there. The cabin is very comfortable. It's nice that everything is updated, but you don't lose the charm and rustic nature of it. It was extremely hot while we were there and the a/c kept it nice and cool. Even the porch was fairly nice most of the time. We discovered so many great waterfall hikes close by too. Sahalie Falls and Proxy Falls are both beautiful. The hike to the blue pool is very pretty too. There are also 2 restaurants in walking distance in McKenzie Bridge. We ate at the McKenzie General Store twice and also heard good things about the restaurant across the street. Can't wait to come back!
