Our Unit was a like a home away from home; airy, thoughtfully and tastefully furnished.
We spent majority of the stay on the verandah, relaxing, eating and marvelling at the pristine Boat Harbour Beach, that was originally named Jacobs' Boat Harbour after Captain John Jacobs, master of small vessels owned by the Van Diemen's Land Company. The vessels were used for trading between the VDL establishments at Circular Head and Woolnorth with Launceston, Tasmania between the late 1820s and the 1840s.
Preserved beautifully by local Government, resembling images in local cafes, as thankfully it was too cold for beach goers in early November to detract from it’s mesmerisingly gem like appeal.
