I stayed in a very comfortable dorm room with an amazingly hot and powerful shower. The room was empty for most of my stay, so I had the dorm to myself. What I liked most about Spotty was that it has a co-working room on floor 12, where you can work in silence. The building was very secure. Everyone has to use their key card to get through the turnstiles in the lobby. The hotel was clean. The cleaners were very busy. The washing machine room was also very good. My one complaint is that the bar on floor 5 was too noisy for my room at night (the room was right next to the bar). However, the noise cancellation in this hotel is otherwise extremely good. I never heard a sound from any other room (apart from the bar at night when loud music was on).

The place is located close by the tourist attractions in Bogota. Unfortunately the room I stayed was dirty, I found a lot of long hair in the ground, the shower area has mold in the ground. The hotel never offered me any of the VIP benefits. PD. Make sure bring earplugs because there are a couple of roosters next door.

Super hostal!
Hostal très beau, moderne, très confortable. Bon service client, j'ai adoré mon expérience là. La vue est très belle et c'est à proximité des intérêts touristiques. La seule chose que j'ai teouvé inconfortable est qu'il devrait avoir un banc dans l'espace douche pour mettre nos affaires, ce n'était pas pratique. Je recommande cet endroit.

Stayed at the Spotty Hotel 2 nights while visiting Bogota. Hotel staff was very friendly and was close to La Candelaria area and the main boulevard where lots of street vendors were set up. Rooms were interesting in that they were setup in a dorm room setup; two rooms with beds connected by a common mini-kitchen area. Note that no kitchen items were provided in the room. Beds were very comfortable, and the shower water pressure was in abundance. Breakfast was good with lots of selections. Lots of places to hang out and socialize as well. Stay was excellent and was a great find.

The location of this property is great for getting around since everything is so close. However, there is no AC which means that the windows have to be opened. I believe there’s a college right outside of the hotel and at night, they are incredibly loud. People yelling, the cars, some people even had microphones singing. This was during the weekday, which surprised me. There aren’t fans in the room so the only option was to open the windows. Also, the restaurant does not have all of the ingredients listed for their meals. I asked for a burger that the menu stated came with a fried egg, lettuce, tomato and pickles. When I received the burger, it had a slice of grilled ham on the burger. When I told the waiter he simply said, “they aren’t going to add it to the menu because they’re changing the menu soon anyway”. So, if you’re like me and have food allergies, be sure to ask if the menu has all of the food ingredients listed. Other than those two things, the hotel staff was very nice and attentive. If the roosters at 2:30 am and the loud people don’t bother you, then this is great place.

La descripción de el hotel es que las habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado, cosa que no es cierta. Cuando le pregunté al staff si era que la habitación tenia el aire acondicionado dañado, me indicaron que allí ninguna habitación tiene aire acondicionado. Solo se puede abrir un poco una ventana pequeña que tiene la habitación para que entre aire de afuera y entonces tambien entra el ruido de la ciudad.

Hotel bem localizado, no coração se Bogotá, com bom café da manhã nos finais de semana somente porque durante semana é bem cheio e barulhento porque é aberto ao público. Quarto minúsculo, barulhento e sem cobertor. Muito movimento o dia todo devido ao restaurante no 17 andar e aos escritórios no edifício. Não possui serviço de quarto e a recepção do hotel não responde as solicitacoes. Até sem papel higiénico ficamos em nossa estadia. A vista do 17 andar é linda.

Hotel is beautiful and staff is friendly. Its brand new and spotless with lots of areas to handout and even the gym . I just didnt like the area around it. Felt like i was in the getto ( and maybe i was). Piles of trash and scary looking people around
