Good value for money
Hotel is on good location, near the train station, maybe 5min walking distance. To the centre it takes more, around 20min by foot. The hotel offers free bikes, but they don't have child seats. Room and other facilities were clean. Breakfast is surprisingly good for Italy. Stuff is friendly, except for a young girl on the reception desk who was determined not to be helpful. Even though we marked that we were coming with small child and paid higher fee, the cot was not available in our room. We were asked to additionally pay for it.

Room was incredibly small - photos of hotel somewhat misleading. Room felt tired. There was writing on the wall from previous guests. There was a random step in the middle of the room. Good points - close to train station and within 20 minute walk of Piazzo Maggiore Bad points - breakfast was chaos. Coffee machine not working 2 out of 3 days. Breakfast room too small for the amount of guests.

One night passing through -- very convenient to train station. Nice folks, wonderful breakfast. BTW I have been an honorary Bolognesi since my student days in 1982 so have seen a bit.

A convenient, well located accommodation
The Hotel Astoria as well, located near the bus and train stations and not that far of a walk from the center. The museum of modern art is only about two blocks away. The included breakfast was quite good. The staff were very helpful.

Well located old town hotel.
I was a bit worried about staying here after reading some recent reviews but thankfully we had a lovely stay. We were allocated a room within the main hotel as the room they first room allocated to us had not be cleaned. There was a mix up in the information reception received. Our room was clean with a very comfortable kingsize bed. The rest of the room had minimum furniture. As our stay was only for 2 nights it was not a problem. Only gripe was the noise of the extractor fan in the toilet, which automatically came on once the light was switched on, which was like a plane taking off.
