Spacious vacation retreat Villa Maria is situated in a quiet residential area on a low-traffic road just 2 blocks from Main Street Bolton Landing. You can walk to the shops, library, museum, stores, post office, and both Rogers and Veterans parks/beaches. No driving is needed to stroll to and from all the various restaurants and bars Bolton Landing has to offer. You can also walk to the Sagamore Hotel for either fine dining or to the Spa which is one of the nicest in the Northeast.

Villa Maria Lake George has two master suites, one on the main floor, and the other on the second floor. It has 4 additional roomy bedrooms to really spread out. There are 3 and ½ bathrooms in total. Villa Maria has a spacious screened-in front porch that is great for relaxing. There is both an upper and a lower deck on the back of the house. The lower deck is good for barbecuing and both allow you to enjoy the backyard.

Villa Maria has high-speed wired and wireless internet and a computer; Cable TV with multiple flat-screen televisions in the living room and bedrooms. The kitchen is recently renovated with granite countertops and is fully equipped. With central A/C, everyone in your family will stay comfortable even on those hot summer days.

Villa Maria's backyard has a lawn area with a fire pit, hammock, and two raised veggie beds. We have also added a badminton/volleyball net to the backyard lawn area.

Bolton Landing is located at the widest part of Lake George, just south of the Tongue Mountain and Narrows where the islands begin. Bolton Landing has many places to rent boats or to launch your own boat or jet ski. At night, you can find the best restaurants such as Cate´s Italian Garden, the Chateau on the Lake, or the Sagamore within walking distance away. After dinner, there are candy and ice cream shops that you can walk to with the kids or one of the many lakeside bars with live bands. Bolton is the ultimate getaway location and Villa Maria couldn't be in a better location - it's close enough to walk to anything and it's quiet enough to escape from it all while being the roomiest home in town to fit your big family and friends.

Great Property
Great property for large families or groups. We were a group of ten in town for a wedding. Conveniently located in Bolton Landing. Comfortable living spaces inside and a nice sun porch overlooking the street. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Maria was very communicative and responsive. Upstairs bathrooms were a little tight but fully functional and understandable given the age and historic nature of the house. 10+

I had a great time at Bolton Landing with my friends and family. The house was nice it had all the necessities that we needed. Everything was really nice about the house except the fact that it was not as clean as it looked. When we were cleaning I found a lot of fur balls and even pet poop.

Our stay at Villa Maria was amazing. The property is well maintained and located just a short walk from the center of town in Bolton Landing. Plenty of room for our large family, the home was well stocked with all the amenities needed for a stay at the Lake. Maria and David were very responsive when we reached out with questions or needed assistance. Wonderful, relaxing stay at this beautiful home - we have stayed in many places in the Lake George area over the last 20 years and know the area well - this is by far the loveliest place we have stayed. Thank you Maria and David for the wonderful experience !

Villa Maria
Villa Maria is everything family and friends could want. It was clean, comfortable, large enough for everyone, beautiful property especially when the leaves are turning, quiet street, easy walk to shops and restaurants and the grocery store. Large house with great location and friendly neighbors!
The property was much bigger than we expected. It was situated in the perfect place for walking to the town of Bolton Landing. We loved the front porch and sat there often. The utensils were excellent in the kitchen we had everything we needed.

We took our 4 daughters, their husbands and our grandchildren to Lake George for vacation. The house was amazing! So much space for everyone, and the front porch was a gathering place each night. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet being so close to town. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Thank you Maria!

Family vacation
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria. Five family members were driving from Pittsburgh and 5 from Boston so the location was a convenient place to meet. We appreciated the crib and baby gate at the bottom of the stairs for our 2 1/2 year old and one year old grandsons. The dining room table was big enough to seat everyone and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep. The front porch was a favorite place to hang out also. For activities we did a hike one day and a boat tour the next. The short distance to walk to town is an added benefit. It was a perfect mini-vacation and we hope to return some day.

Spacious house, beautiful and clean inside and out , and excellent location
We had more than enough room for 8 adults to enjoy a milestone birthday getaway. The house was perfect for our stay and the front porch was a fantastic gathering place for all of us. The location is far enough off of Main street but close enough to walk to any of Bolton landing's shops and restaurants. We would definitely return to this gem.

Spacious and comfortable house in the heart of Bolton Landing!
Our extended family enjoyed a weekend at Villa Maria to attend a wedding in Bolton, and this house worked very well for our needs! The large kitchen and dining areas provided plenty of room for our large group, and the unusually warm October weather even allowed us to enjoy coffee on the front porch in the mornings as an added bonus! The house's location within walking distance to Main Street shops, the grocery store and the Sagamore resort made it a perfect fit for us. Everyone in our group commented positively on the house, and we hope to be able to come back for a longer stay in the future!

Perfect house for large family getaway
My sisters and I rented this beautiful home for our family of 13 to celebrate our father's 80th birthday. The home is clean, neat, and well equipped. The rooms are spacious and we loved the screened porch in the evenings! The location is amazing...less than a 5 minute walk to main street Bolton Landing (restaurants, shops, churches, parks, beach, etc). Had to the call the owners with one minor issue and they responded in a very timely manner. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future!!!

Beautiful vacation property
Villa Maria is a wonderful vacation property. The house is well maintained, has great character and was very well equipped. As others have mentioned Bolton Landing is a great town. Restaurants, beaches and stores are within easy walking distance while the house sits in a quiet residential neighborhood two blocks off the Main thoroughfare. We were a large group of 6 adults and 6 kids but the house easily accommodated us. Overall the house is exactly as advertised and a great place for a Lake George vacation.
