Cute cabin
Very private, very quiet. **But beware - no A/C. A rustic vibe with most everything you need. The owners were very responsive, and the charcoal grill was a great way to fix a burger. Very close to Boone and to Blowing Rock. The pond is a ways down the hill, and the fire pit is in front of the cabin. Overall a very relaxing getaway.

Property is well maintained and exactly as advertised. And the location is close to everything. The drive way is very steep, so make sure your vehicle is well suited for the access road in any bad weather.

This is a very quiet and comfortable house. Great location. It feels remote but is only 15 minutes into Boone. We were there so I could go to a workshop at the Art of Living Retreat Center. Which was only 12 minutes from the house.

This log home was exactly what we were looking for, and exactly what we needed... privacy, peace, and quiet. Although secluded, the cabin is a very short distance to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Perfect... absolutely perfect :)

Cabin is great. Super clean. Nice Appliances and well equipped kitchen. Hot tub was clean and comfy! Mattresses slept well. Gas Fireplace bog plus. Herd of deer rambling around. 5min to Boone. 15 to Blowing Rock. Hosts were quick to respond. We are very happy with our stay!

Great way getaway
We wanted to have a special Christmas for our girls. We walked in to the sweetest Christmas tree that we didnt know we would have. Even when the weather wasn't perfect they had games for all of us to play for hours. The sunrise we saw was one of the best ones we've seen. Thank you for hosting us.

Very nice little cabin! It was perfect for a quiet anniversary getaway for my wife and I. It was also nice that we were able to bring our dog. It was clean and very convenient to everything! We highly recommended!!!

Long weekend Getaway
We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Location was great, hot tub worked well, cabin was clean, and check in/out was very easy. We loved the little pond at the bottom of the road and took our daughter fishing, no one was ever there and it was very peaceful. The only (tiny) disappointment we had was in one picture it somewhat seems as if the side yard to the cabin is a big field you can walk out on, while there is a field it is a separate property and blocked by a barbed wire fence so just heads up! It was still a lovely view.

Sweet time in the mountains
What a wonderful experience! Just isolated enough with very easy access to town. Jeff and Tweety became almost like family and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them. Cabin is clean, cute and comfy and I was really sad to leave. However, I’ll be back next year.

We enjoyed watching the deer from the deck every evening. Owner was working on the hot tub when we arrived. It heated fine , except some of the jets weren’t working properly. We still enjoyed using it. Grandkids had a ball!

Fun Mountain Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this cabin. Beautiful property with everything that you need for a trip to the mountains. Our kids loved fishing in the pond and using the available boats. The cabin is in a great location and close to Boone and the Parkway. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to questions and issues. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Overall, the unit is pretty neat, just needs some TLC in terms of upkeep. One of our issues was the dog smell and hair from other pets that we saw as soon as we arrived. Furniture needs a once over both indoors and out. We were not able to use any outdoor furniture, it was just too dirty to use so we didn't attempt the hot tub. The back porch is a step shy, so watch your step! All the steps and lumber are coated and slick, again, watch your step! We didn't attempt to use the grill, the table and chairs on the back porch were coated in the same weathering the steps and lumber have. Keep in mind, there's no A/C and at night it was a bit uncomfortable, we didn't realize this while booking or we would have booked elsewhere. We wound up leaving a day early and left the cabin as we found it, or better.
