Awesome "home away from home"
This home is truly stunning. They provided everything as stated and when I asked about firewood for the firepit, she responded quickly. They even had lighters to light the grill. The best part was it was far enough out of the hub hub.. but still close. We even had deer all along the house and within 5 feet of us. Great house and would love to rent again!

Spring break
Lovely house that fit our needs perfectly. Everyone had some privacy for downtime and a nice family room for game time, too! Area activities are close by. Spring weather did not cooperate but we had a good time nonetheless.

Nice cabin for the weekend
The ceckin proccess was super easy. The cabin was spacious and there were lots of board games to play. The front and back patio had rocking chairs which the kids really liked. There is also a fire pit in the backyard, and also a hiking trails that was awesome. Everything was great, we all had a good time.

Perfect home for our family vacation
This home was perfect for us. My father is in a wheelchair & we are always struggling to find a one story home in the mountains to accommodate him. This home had a ramp for him to get into the home, a power recliner & handles in the shower! It had everything we could’ve needed in the kitchen & we had the best time!

Excellent stay, make sure have 4 wheel drive
Excellent stay and close to Beech Mountain. The house is updated and well equipped. My only caution is there is a portion of the final road to the hose which is no paved and very windy and I would not recommend making that drive without 4 wheeled drive especially during the snowy season

Home away from home
First let me start by saying that we absolutely loved the property. Me and my family booked the cozy retreat for Thanksgiving. We book a different place in the mountains every Thanksgiving and this place was by far one of the best and our favorite. The property was clean and cozy. It was well stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen (with the exception of a can opener). The kitchen had upgraded appliances. The bedrooms were cozy. The beds were soft and everyone slept well. There were TVs in every bedroom with streaming so everyone was able to watch what they wanted. There was plenty of seating in the kitchen. We couldn't get the fireplace to work but it was fine. We saw many deer every morning which was a nice treat. I would recommend this property to my family and friends.

Highland Hearth Hospitality
This is a lovely home with many features that I really appreciated: being able to adjust temperature for our comfort rather than having someone remotely deciding for us; adequately bright lights in bathroom, handheld mirrors in every bathroom; place for coats and shoes right inside door. A number of deer came to visit and feed daily, a real thrill for city dwellers. We will return to this lovely location in the future.

Adorable little property
We had a very pleasant stay at this adorable little mountain home! Very clean, cozy furnishings and comfortable beds, plenty of linens and amenities. It was perfect for our family of four. The listing is accurate, only one minor detail was off - the listing stated a “drip” coffee pot so we purchased ground coffee and filters - however they have a Keurig. Other than that, we were very happy with the home and would define stay again :)

Easy trip to the ski area
Nice place. Super convenient to the mountain - stayed here with our adult children to go skiing for the weekend. 1/2 the dishwasher was not working so we were running the other half constantly, but that was the only annoyance. Would stay again!

We stayed at this lovely house for 2 nights. The house is very clean, very well taken care of and everything was in mint condition. We had a great time, and planning to come back again for our next trip to the mountains.

Absolutely Awesome!
I have no bad things to say about this place. Every year my family takes a trip to the mountains but we’ve already stayed in hotel rooms, this year we wanted to try something different and I can surely say we will be staying here again! It was so amazing from the cleanliness of the home, to the cute little deer that would come up to us in the backyard and let us feed them carrots. Nothing but good things about our stay! We all enjoyed it so much 🥰 Thank you 💞

Amazing Relaxation
I could not have booked a better place to stay with my family for our annual family vacation. The house had everything you could need, for example: extra blankets. Extra towels, cooking ware, grill, 3 br that had there own private bathrooms. The view of the mountains are only 2 min. Also, there is a walking trail right beside the house. I would recommend this place to everyone!
