One Night Stay
I checked in late in the evening and noticed there were several vehicles already in the parking lot indicating there were numerous people staying at the hotel for the night. This may explain the room I was given which was located on the third floor by both the elevator and the vending machine and the ice machine. Needless to say the noise from the people getting on and off the elevator as well as the early morning people getting ice from the ice machine for the day allowed for very little sleep. The room itself was clean and the bed itself was somewhat comfortable but the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. I would rate this hotel at. Slightly below average overall. The cost of the room is reasonable which was why I had decided to stay there, especially after seeing it had an 8.0 rating. I probably would’ve chosen another hotel if I had known how the stay would have been.

The bed was very comfortable but there were not hangers in the closet. It is nice to have a little breakfast to start the day but is was all carbs which is tough on my husband who is a diabetic. Also I had to go down twice to get room key reprogramed. However, overall our stay was nice. Thank you!

Very friendly front desk staff for my late check-in and accommodating for my dog. Great spot to rest and have a nice breakfast for us weary travelers driving long distances next to an Outback steak house right off the highway. Fairly priced!

I purchased 6 rooms. One room flooded terribly. Another room that had an adult in it, had a door to the stairs that sounded like a big boom everytime the door opened and closed. We didn’t get a good night’s rest neither night. My biggest disappointment was the laundry facilities. They had them but were not hooked up. I booked the hotel for a tournament and it was very late coming back to the hotels after games, and couldn’t wash the uniforms. I had to go to this not so sanitary Washateria down the street that was dark and dangerous. This hotel would not have been booked had I known all amenities were unavailable. Very inconvenient.

It’s not worth the money you save!
This place was run down. The door was splintered, there was a dent in the door like someone punched it, the bathroom had mold in the caulk, the pillows were thin and uncomfortable, the morning I checked out the breakfast was sparse only 20 minutes in and the elevator and ice machine were both out of order. When I checked out the front desk person just said “ok” will not stay here again.

Very clean & staff was very friendly. Only 2 issues we had was the main bolt lock didn’t work, but they did have another safety lock. Also the pillows were the thinnest pillows I’ve ever seen, no cushion at all. That was odd. Otherwise, had great sleep

My stay at this hotel was nice and if I ever need it again this will be my go to place. The room and bathroom were clean and it smelled nice in the room. Hallway was extremely hot and staff could have better mannerism but my overall stay was good.

Everything was clean, the staff were extremely nice, but due to some folks in our party having asthma and allergies as well as being on oxygen we struggled with having selected non smoking rooms only to arrive and have the lobby, elevator, and 3 of the floors we had rooms on smell like pot smoke. It’s something others might want to be aware of the hotel allowing when some people really medically need non smoking. The beds were also on some type of platform that some of the elderly and children in our party struggled with causing the mattress to easily be scooted around, so that’s something others may want to be aware of also.

Booked a 4 night stay based on reviews. Upon getting to our room, immediately not impressed. The door did not shut without being slammed and then you have to use your shoulder to push it open again like a footballer. If not slammed, the door would not latch and could easily be pushed open. Bathroom door would not latch. The bathroom sink took up the majority of the counter so there was no where to place your personal items. Renovations in room were poorly done. The phone does not work, the TV programming does not allow to watch anything either d/t needing to pay for it (prime video, Netflix) or because the connectivity kept circling. There were exposed wires to an outlet. The exit door next to our room was left propped open even after we closed it leaving concern for safety. Every time someone came in/out of the exit door, it sounded like they were messing with our room door. When asked if we could get a different room, I was told no because they didn’t have any more double bed rooms. I would much rather have a refund and find a better room!

Great hidden treasure!
This was my first time staying with Microtel, and I must say, i was truely shocked. I would have never imagined wirh the prices that it would have been as nice as it was. The service from the front door, the housekeeping staff were all great. The place was so clean. I really hate that they dont have kingsize beds, but i would definitely stay there again and recommend others to stay there. Also you have a restaurant next door and another restaurant across the street.
