Iona Park, Moss Vale, Southern Highlands - 4pm check out Sundays and Public Holidays, except Summer Season
Iona Park is a large and majestic country home set on a 100 acre working horse and cattle farm. The property delivers a blend of formal yet comfortable rural living, and the house is large enough to effortlessly accommodate up to 22 guests (4 on sofa beds). A swimming pool, two world-class clay tennis courts, and lovely lawns and gardens round out a perfect Southern Highlands getaway!
Coaching with or playing against John Alexander
For tennis enthusiasts, there is an option to have private tennis coaching by John Alexander (JA), Australia’s former top ranked tennis player and Davis Cup champion. Whether you are beginners or very experienced players, JA can tailor a program that will have your group playing like pros in no time! Our bookings team can give you more information about this!
The property has two clay courts that have been developed by JA. One is a finely graded crushed basalt and the other similarly graded crushed tile. The courts are designed to play medium pace and be receptive to spin, but most of all, to be kind to the body. The controlled slide virtually eliminates the damaging jarring that occurs on hard courts and the resulting damage to knees and hips.
Where will I be?
Iona Park is located minutes from Moss Vale, and is ideally located to access the local wedding venues, wineries and surrounding towns of Bowral, Robertson, Fitzroy Falls or Burrawang - all within easy driving distance of the property through beautiful countryside.
