Our review
The customer service was great! Everyone was friendly and moved us around if we needed to be. Rooms are clean, except carpets. Bathrooms are dated. Beds and pillows are great. Some of the renos that are being done or that are completed are sloppy for example, primer on rugs, touched ceiling with paint roller. Splashes of paint on lots of things. Hallways are cold. Taps in rooms for water dated, they work, just not a stream of water kind of splashy. Mom and dads view of the pool was a view storage. Not enough light in rooms.

Room was very clean! Most of the staff were pretty nice and helpful, the lady at check in didnt seem to be great with people, and just kind of rude... but the lady at check out was super sweet! Breakfast was simple but good. Overall, was a pretty good experience!

Being an older property there are some thing you would expect. Some renovations going on, o they are obviously trying to improve all around. Bed and room was nice, pull-out sofabed has seen better days, but could be part of the ongoing upgrades. Parking is good, although back lot is kind of dirty, and the neighbourhood doesn't appear to be as safe as years ago.

Front door of building was broken and there was blood on carpet in the foyer. However, the room was clean and comfortable. It is in a rougher part of the city but there were several other hotels a good restaurants close by. Very affordable.
