Pretty, pretty, pretty good
Overall a great stay. I chose a twin room on the hotels.com site but they sent a double to the hotel itself. The staff was extremely helpful and was able to work out a fix. Only criticism is that the dining room was super warm during breakfast. Maybe because all the old people?

Hotel was sub par at best. There was a privacy issue that was never properly addressed despite multiple requests and interactions with front desk and management. Parking is not great. It’s old and worn out and not worth the high price we paid.

Check in experience was bad ! We paid each room £200 / night. They assigned 1 on 2nd floor, 1 on basement floor, but property NO lift. We asked how can you ask almost 70 years old couples carry heavy luggages down & up stairecase, cold reply is £2.0 for each. Abolutely NOT customer oriented and we feel so bad. Please warn all seniors to book this hotel in future.

We waited 10 minutes for someone to come check us in. And when we asked if they could store our two bags because we couldnt check in yet, and they said we could. We came back later and they had just tucked them into the corner in the lobby where everyone had access to it which was very frustrating. The rooms were very small.

This was a wonderful stay! The isle of Skye was an incredible journey and this was a fantastic choice. Great Bar and a proper Guinness! Good accommodations and very clean!

Disappointing
I found the hotel to be bland. My room had no pictures on the walls and there was a minimum of furnature e.g. there was just a tiny shelf instead of a bed side cabinet. Just four coat hangers in an alcove with no doors on it. They must get special loo paper as I have never known any so thin before. I was on the lower ground floor and the floor boards in the room over mine creaked every time the occupants moved. I came away with the impresion that someone was going over the accounts a cutting 2p here and a penny there without considering the customers enjoyment. This is the fourth place I have stoppedin on my trip. It is the most expensive and the least comfortable and welcoming. The dining room has a very good view.

Nuestra habitación estaba en el sótano con vista directa al mar pero muy cerca y con mal clima nos hizo sentir inseguros. La habitación muy pequeña. El staff no fue muy amable en la recepción. No nos avisaron que tenían un grupo grande de un evento que ocupaba todas la áreas comunes por lo que tuvimos que cenar en el bar en lugar de el restaurante. El estacionamiento es muy pequeño y no había lugar por lo que tuvimos que estacionarnos en un free parking lot a unos 300mts.
