The large garden has table tennis, basketball, badminton, and football goals to while away the hours. There are many different areas to socialize, eat, read, or relax.
Dining together can be great fun at Trebarried, with the large dining table and breakfast bar accommodating all of you. Outside, there is plenty of space to enjoy alfresco dining, and we provide two new professional oil-can Jerk BBQs for your use.
You can enjoy your Stay at a historic 17 c Mill House, including the original Mill Wheel and Run. It is a beautiful home perfect for extended families/groups—gardens @ Half Acre, bordered by the Dulas stream, and a lovely patio area.
Trebarried is within easy reach of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains in beautiful rural Wales. It is ideally located between Brecon, Hay on Wye, and Builth Wells market towns.
The Millhouse provides flexible living/sleeping accommodation with five bedrooms, two of which are large family rooms; beds include two super king beds, three king-size beds, one 4ft Double Divan, a Bunkbed, and a selection of single beds (max 12/13 individual beds).
The lounge dates back to the 17th Century and is a lovely room full of character with original wooden beams and a 17C fireplace.
The rest of the downstairs includes a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen/ diner with patio doors opening onto a superb patio area with BBQs. The country kitchen has ample dining table seating for @14 people and a breakfast bar accommodating four additional people. There are plenty of TVs throughout the property. The main TV has films and sports for your entertainment. There is also Superfast broadband with Fiber to the property.
The Mill House has five bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Bedroom 5 is on the ground floor and has a super-king bed that can be turned into two single beds, with an en-suite providing easy access for less mobile people. There is also the flexibility to use this room for additional living space, and it has a TV and Dart Board in situ.
There is also a separate downstairs toilet.
Outside there is plenty of space too. The original 17th Century Mill wheel is an imposing feature on the patio (accessed from the kitchen), where part of the race has been restored and is now home to Koi Carp.
The house is situated on the Dulas stream, which meanders along at the bottom of the garden- great for paddling in on a sunny day.
If you fancy venturing out and about, there are plenty of activities nearby: Llangorse Lake, Pony Trekking, Black Mounting Adventure Centre, Canoeing, Cycling, and Walking. Brecon and Hay on Wye are a short drive away, with shops/ supermarkets and lots of history to explore.
