Holidays in the monument combines heritage preservation and tourism. Historically valuable Bauzeugen be taken, gently renovated and rented as apartments. The model allows a double win: The monuments received a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is realized by the foundation Ferien im Baudenkmal (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Homeland Security.
Parking: The public car park is about 100m from the house. The parking is not covered. The access to the house is not guaranteed.
Public transport: Bus 4 direction Castasegna, Vecchia Dogana. Get off at the Punt Spizarun stop and reach the
Cäsa Picenoni Cief in five minutes.
Number of persons 9: There is a cot (up to 2 years) available. The house can accommodate nine guests (plus baby). There are four double and one single room available. On the ground floor is the entrance area and a fireplace room. In the 1. Floor there is the kitchen and a large living-dining room. In the 2. Floor three bedrooms and a bathroom, and in the 3rd Floor there are two rooms, a living room with a balcony plus a toilet. The floors are made of wood and stone which is why we recommend good slippers.
Garden: The house is located directly on the village square of Bondo and has no private garden. Around Bondo, there are countless opportunities to explore nature.

The Cäsa Picenoni Cief is picturesquely located on the village square of Bondo, between the church of San Martino, decorated with early Renaissance paintings, and the splendid Palazzo Salis. The CAESA Picenoni Cief is in its original building on the 14th Century back to lead. Two expansion stages - in the 15th and 18th Century - led to the present form. The house exemplarily reflects the family history of a generation that has followed the events in the Bergell for almost 700 years and partly directed. The Picenonis presented among other mercenaries Podestàs, poet, teacher, and how many sex Grisons confectioners. All their stories shape the Ciäsa Picenoni Cief to the present day.

The CAESA Picenoni Cief testifies to the smallest detail of the residential use of the house during the last four hundred years. Since the construction of the first part in the 13th century and the reconstruction after fire in the 17th century changes were made to the building, which is always the historical substance unpaid due respect. The carefully designed additions help to keep the original structure intact and preserve the unique character of the house.

The Cäsa Picenoni Cief is a monument that has been renovated with great respect for the existing substance. The tenant is aware of and meets the object with care. Furthermore, although technologically equipped contemporary, do not comply with certain functional details now common standards and pose a possible safety hazard.
