Property was a little dated, its prime riverfront location more than makes up for the dated decor. Hotel was centrally located being close to most major attractions in SSM.

Beautiful view! Are room was very nice, clean and comfortable. One of the bar tenders at the hotel restaurant was not very welcoming or friendly, to the point that we felt uncomfortable and left.

Buffet was expensive and only had typical ‘free’ selection of food. If I am going to pay $21 breakfast (which I am not opposed to)…then the scrambled eggs should be real. Sausage should not be same one served at free breakfasts, etc. quality was definitely not there at all!!! also no bread items on buffet…apparently you could ask for kitchen to make them…but just seemed silly and awkward to ask when you are ordering from buffet…

Only thing I did not like was the gunfire fast synopsis I was given as we checked in. All the times of everything being open and closed was too much for this tired grandmother to take in. And when I said to her I was too tired to remember any of that she proceeded to tell me it all again quickly. I asked if it was written down anywhere that I could read later. Gal needed to look at her audience and read the room. But her heart was in the right place.

Comfortable stay for 1 night
The location is pretty good for quick access to the waterfront. I'm not too familiar with the area, but there seemed to be a few good restaurants within close walking distance. The room was comfortable, I do question why they offer free wifi and then an upgraded service for a nightly fee. This seems budget to me. If you are charging a premium price for a hotel room, these simple things should be included.

Not impressed that you couldn’t leave anything in your vehicle or on it without the high chance of it getting broken into or stolen. Signs and warnings all over. Even told to empty the glove box and leave it open so when they shine a flashlight into the vehicle at night they know there’s nothing inside. Other than that it is a good hotel.
