Distinctive, secluded, hillside waterfront retreat nestled in the trees with unparalleled views of Lake Bridgeport located in Runaway Bay, TX. This 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home was built for entertaining and includes a large game room with a pool table, shuffleboard, foosball table, and poker table. The poker room can actually be used as a 5th bedroom with a sleeper sofa. Enjoy the sunrise/sunsets overlooking the lake while lounging on the deck, concrete patio or platform over the water. The upper deck extends the length of the back of the home and can be accessed from the Master Bedroom or the Living Room. The lower patio can be accessed from the Game Room or Poker Room and includes an outdoor hot tub. The main living area combines the dining area, kitchen and TV area creating one large area to gather for family and friends and has great views of the lake. The home sleeps a total of 15 with three king beds, a twin over queen bunk bed, queen sleeper sofa, 2 chair beds, 2 twin mattresses and a sleeper sofa. Your own private boat dock is available to tie your boat or watercraft to or use for swimming and fishing. There is also a sidewalk that takes you down to the shoreline. There is also an outdoor combination grill that uses propane on one side and charcoal on the other. The charcoal side includes a smokebox for smoking meats. This home is like being on a small ranch with total privacy from your neighbors.

***Our home is on the side of a hill. There is some walking up and down to get to our lower patio and boat dock. This incline may be difficult for elderly or people with mobility issues.***

This house was beautiful with all the amenities you need. Plenty of sleeping room for our 6 kids and 6 grands. The hosts were wonderful! They kept in touch and shared fun things to do in the area.

Fabulous Family Gathering Place
This property is perfect for a large extended family get together. Plenty of room inside and out for kids to play and adults to visit. Downstairs pool table, shuffle board and other game tables are enjoyed by young and old alike! Fully equipped kitchen has everything you need! And the hosts are the best! They make you feel that they are welcoming you into their home!

Reunion Weekend
We stayed here for a college buddy reunion weekend. Six men all mid 50s. This spot was perfect! We cooked great meals in the kitchen, used the big grill, enjoyed evenings sitting out on the upper and lower decks, hit the hot tub, played pool, foosball, and shuffleboard. The only thing we didn't do that we had hoped to was play some poker at the poker table! Greg was great as an owner to work with. Place was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. If you want some seclusion, lots of things to do at the house, and beautiful lake views this is the spot for you!

This home had everything we needed and back decks and view of the lake were amazing. While lake levels are definitely low my family still got plenty of fishing in by walking out to the water. Owners were very responsive to all questions and have stocked kitchen and game room for everyone’s interests!

Relaxing and Roomy
This was our 10th annual Hladky Hlake Trip and Bridgeport lake is one of our favorite locations. I'm thrilled to have found this gem of a house for our family to hang out in this time. While it is always challenging to find a house the checks all of the boxes for our family, this one has come pretty close. A big priority for us is sleeping arrangements. Each bedroom has ample sleeping with a king size bed in almost all of the rooms. Yay! My adult sons are avid boardgame players so the game room areas downstairs were a huge win and the lakeview was amazing as well. My daughter in laws love to float in the lake and visit. Unfortunately the lake was about 9 feet below average so we didn't do much floating off of the dock this time. Thank goodness for the hot tub right off the back porch with a beautiful lake view. The public boat dock was just a short distance from the house. We were able to secure our boat on the dock throughout the day instead of trailering the boat daily. The owners were great about communicating with us. Quite an enjoyable stay. Looking forward to staying here again!

This place was the PERFECT family weekend getaway! The lake house had something for everyone including a wonderful game room, hot tub and dock onsite for everyone to fish! The owners are quick to respond to questions, as well! We will be coming back!!

Memorial Day Weekend Get Away
Our family had a great weekend at the Lake. We visited for my daughters 16 Birthday and this house was perfect for the occasion. Everything we needed was stocked in the house. The water was low so made parking the boat and jet skis at dock difficult but we figured it out. If you have young toddlers I do suggest bring a baby gate for stairs. There is a door at the top but it doesn’t latch good and my 18 month old son could open it. We had a great weekend and can’t wait to visit again!!!

Awesome Property
We had a private hibachi chef come out and cook on the mid level with the lake and sunset as the back drop and it was stunning. Perfect spot for privacy and a secluded lake experience without much water traffic. The game room was fantastic and kept us busy all weekend.

Great Family Get-together for 12 (one 16 yr old and the rest adults)
Lovely home. Nice for visiting, resting, and lots of activities to keep busy with as well. Stocked with everything needed except our personal belongings and meals. Kitchen was well equipped with appliances, seasonings, and basic needs. The bedrooms were havens and beds comfortable. The pull out bed in the couch was not comfortable so we put the younger backs there. :) For anyone with mobility issues, I would not recommend this property because of the multi-levels and steep paths around the house, however if no mobility issues then I highly recommend. Very nice folks with good communication. A great find!

This trip was lovely from start to finish. Greg and Christa go above and beyond for their guests. Just wow! We had a family reunion at their beautiful home for Thanksgiving and they made sure we had everything we needed, communicating with genuine care all along the way. All the conveniences were provided. The game room was fantastic. The hot tub was clean. The view is spectacular. This one will stay deep in my heart and memory for some time. The only thing I didn't like was leaving! Thanks Greg and Christa!

Great place on the lake!
From booking to check out time, the communication with the owner was beyond expectations. The home was clean and welcoming, the personal note and bottle of wine was a nice touch. The home is spacious with plenty of things to stay occupied for all ages. The hot tub was a favorite by all. Look forward to return trips.
