Parish Land Barn is a stunning, detached barn conversion located on the owners’ land. It is very spacious and full of character and comprises accommodation on three separate mini levels, with a few steps in between each room. The whole property benefits from very high ceilings and a real sense of space yet retains a very cosy countryside feel. There is an open plan living/bedroom area with a Smart TV, fantastic wood burner-style open fireplace at one end and a kingsize bed at the other. Step down a few steps and find yourself in the large kitchen/diner area with French doors that lead out onto the south facing enclosed lawned garden with lovely countryside views.
Back inside the kitchen area you’ll find everything you need for your stay including a dishwasher, coffee machine, electric Aga range-style cooker and an American-style fridge/freezer. The bathroom is a stylish room which is accessed via a stable door with some steps leading down and comprises a free-standing bath with a shower attachment, and there’s the added luxury of underfloor heating.
The owners’ land, located in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is surrounded by the beautiful Quantocks Hills scenery and if you have horses, there are facilities for you to bring your four-legged friend or two with you on holiday! There is stabling for one horse and paddock space for two. You’ll get a sense of the countryside with wildlife such as sheep, chickens, peahens, and rams on your doorstep so although very welcome, four-legged friends of the smaller variety, namely up to two dogs, must be kept on a lead when out and about.
