New for 2024 we are providing a family pass for Sewerby Hall to use during your stay at Sunnyside.
Sunnyside Cottage is a 220 year old Grade 2 listed building nestled within the heart of the delightful village of Sewerby on the east coast of Yorkshire. Sewerby is set on the cliff tops overlooking the beautiful bay of Bridlington so within five minutes by foot you can be on the beach!
The village boasts the magnificent Sewerby Hall which is set in 50 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. The Hall also features a children's zoo, golf course, pitch and putt, rose garden and cafe. It has a wonderful pub and restaurant all within a couple of minutes walk for those evenings when you don't feel like cooking.
Sunnyside Cottage is a fully central heated, tastefully decorated period cottage and has a warm and cosy feel. With many original features the accommodation comprises of 2 spacious bedrooms (Double & Twin)
It has two cosy lounges with beamed ceilings, so at the end of the day parents and children can have their own lounge each to relax in! Facilities include a Freeview TV and DVD player along with a large selection of DVDs and family games. There is a large selection of books and CDs available in the second lounge.
WiFi is available throughout the property.
The dining kitchen is spacious and well equipped and it has dining facilities to accommodate 6 guests. The kitchen is equipped with full electric oven, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.
Tea and coffee are provided along with a welcome basket on your arrival.
PLEASE NOTE THIS PROPERTY ONLY HAS A DOWNSTAIRS SHOWER ROOM, THERE ARE NO BATHROOM FACILITIES UPSTAIRS.
Upstairs there are two very spacious bedrooms, one double and one twin. There is an additional bed available to sleep an extra guest at a cost of £5 per night available in the twin room.
Sunnyside Cottage has a large enclosed pleasant rear garden with private parking for 2 cars. It has a patio area where garden furniture is provided for al fresco dining along with a BBQ.
We are more than happy to accommodate two well behaved dogs.
Guests find that once they have arrived they often don't use their car again during their stay as the village has a good bus service especially in the summer months to nearby villages. There is also the land train available in Sewerby between Easter and September which goes round to the South Promenade in Bridlington.
