Thank you so much! This was a great place to stay. Each kid had their own bed, the common area was comfortable, the bathroom and shower were great. Quiet location, yet not far from the highway! Thank you Ursula for allowing us to stay at your lovely home!

Updated and Friendly Accommodations
We are so grateful that we stayed at Ursula's place! The nice view of creations was great for us to recover from our hectic trip. Oh the clean white bathtub! And the adjustable beds were just what we needed. There were also stainless steel pots and basic spices and seasonings made the stay pleasant, especially the first night after long drive. When it rained, we enjoyed the spacious living area and admired all the professional construction. It's always more pleasant to find the place actually better than the pictures. For those travelers who want to know more about the location, it is situated right at the main road, but the double- pane windows were pretty effective. The rental is on the second floor above the owner's place, but renters get their private entry without going through owner's . Even though we had to rely on Google translate, Ursula's friendliness made communication easy, and her English is way better than our German. Overall, I am just thankful that my husband picked this place!

Better Than Expected
This apartment was so much better than excepted. So beautiful, clean, great location away from the main city, good bakery just up the road. Kitchen was well stocked, shower and bathroom were big. The owners were so very kind and helpful, we didn’t have coins for the laundry on arrival so she borrowed me some Euros, above and beyond! If you prefer a little more country and open spaces than city, stay here!! Best place we stayed over a month long Europe vacation from Norway to France.

Wonderful time in a wonderful place!
Our group of five had a lovely time in this property. It was more than advertised and it's location is wonderful for easy hiking trail access. We were met and greeted so warmly by the hosts and truly enjoyed our time there. I will be personally recommending the property to anyone I know heading to Switzerland!

Super clean, large apartment with all the essentials.
We are a family of five (kids are 18, 15 and 11) and the apartment was the perfect size for us. It was very clean, modern and had all the essentials that we needed. The apartment itself was on a main road, but that didn't bother us. It was a short drive into the town of Brienz where we could find grocery stores, restaurants and a travel information centre which was very helpful. The apartment had space for our rental car. Ursula was very friendly and available when necessary. We easily communicated with her in English.

Recent Stay in Brienz at the Egger's Property
Stayed for 10 nights in August and had a very nice time in the area. The apartment is very modern and comfortable. Since we did not have car we had to coordinate with not-so-regular buses or to walk 20 minutes or so into town in order to get to the train. Not so bad if you are not in a rush and enjoy walking. Great location with Ballenberg museum, Axalp and the lake close by. Brienz is a good location for getting to other areas such as the Lauterbrunnen area. The Eggers were very helpful and accommodating during the booking process and during our stay. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay in Brienz with our children. Ursula was a wonderful hostess as well as her huband Ernst made us feel very welcome. The apartment was great, clean, and you couldn't ask for more. The kitchen was fully supplied with the utensils to cook a meal. If you are looking for a great place to stay with a wonderful host look no further. We will be back.
