Fully self-contained two bedroom beach house with a huge covered deck overlooking the ocean and surrounding bushland. This property is fenced to the street and backs onto native bushland.
NB This property is the downstairs of a two storey dwelling but the upstairs is never occupied when guests are in downstairs.

Minimum stay period not stated in Ray White add. Would have stayed an extra night for same money if I had known I was paying for it anyway. Phone call to agent orior to stay didnt provide me with this information.

Lovely views
Hillhouse is not a 5 star luxury resort. It is an older beach house which was very clean and comfortable, and perfect for a family holiday. The kitchen had all the utensils you need to cook basic meals. The washing machine and dryer were new. Just remember to clean the filters in both before use! The deck at the back is huge with ample shade or sunny spots with wonderful views of the sea. The birdsong in the afternoons was wonderful! There is a gas BBQ on the deck. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept well. The wifi was great which was important as my husband was working remotely some days. The beach is a 10+ minute walk from the house and it's a long steep climb back to the house afterwards, so is good for fitness! The shower is over the bath which could be a problem if you have mobility issues, but the bath isn't very high and was easy to get in and out of. Bring toilet paper, soap and shampoo with you, and if you need one, bring your own hairdryer. The toilet is in a separate room adjacent to the bathroom. There was ample dish washing liquid (no dishwasher), two tea towels, sponges and brushes supplied. There were many games and books (children's and adults) in the cupboard. Be aware that the light outside the front door isn't working (we have notified Ray White) so it's quite dark walking back in at night. We used our phones as torches. Also, there are holes in the fly screens in one window of the main bedroom, so we had to keep the window closed to keep mozzies out. We enjoyed our stay here and would love to come again.

We had a great stay here. Small but very comfortable and cosy place. Awesome big deck surrounded by bush land and ocean view. Quiet and private. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
