Perfect location, lovely stay
Room was lovely, nice big King bed and anll the usual comforts, although the shower taps were weirdly hard to turn! Breakfast was great, gluten free options were good, the wait staff were really friendly and helpful. Great location a stone’s throw from the water and all the bars and restaurants there.

Perfect accommodations for business travel
I stayed for three nights recently on my first trip to the UK. This trip happened to be for work and the hotel was conveniently located near my client's office near Queens Square. The room was clean, well-appointed, comfortable, and (importantly) quiet. It included a large desk to work from, and the bed was great. The breakfast buffet was nice, though I also really enjoyed breakfast at the cafés nearby. Having it also be right on the canal was another nice little bonus. Bristol is a great little city, very walkable and friendly and lively.

This is a great hotel but I find it a little dated and could do with a uplift to the bar and seating areas. Location is ideal and would definitely recommend it to travellers. One item of note is that the parking next door is a nightmare to get in and out of if you have a regular sized cars and be prepared to scuff your wheels and body work.

The Bristol hotel is OK. Stopped before and the quality of the stay depends on the room you are allocated. This stay the noises from the adjacent room (door closing, using bathroom etc) kept me awake. Also was very hot with no means to lower the temperature

Great location and premium hotel! Lovely decor and room. Biggest TV I have seen in a hotel room! Great breakfast and lounges. Very convenient and quiet. Very close to riverside and numerous bars, restaurants. Great staff! And felt very welcome.!

Small, compact standard room but clean and tidy with aircon. Cost included breakfasts but because we were up & out early to balloon fiesta in Bristol, they made up a take-out breakfast each. Staff kind & courteous. Car park handy, right next door. Food a tad expensive, although al la carte. Noisy one night. If stayed again, would try a bigger room.

Bristol does not encourage cars, but if you have to drive this hotel is one of a few with easy parking in the multi storey next door (there is a fee). It’s also perfectly situated to leave the car in that car park and walk to many parts of the city. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. We will definitely return.

For one night only (Thankfully)
Hotel is tired and grubby in parts, but for a single night was ok. Overall staff interaction and helpfulness was ok, girls on reception very helpful, experience was brought down heavily by an obnoxious barman trying to take advantage of people he thought had had too much to drink (tried charging £23.10 for two soft drinks and a bottle of beer) fortunately, we spotted this straight away and asked for a receipt/menu. He very sheepishly took the drinks away without saying anything else. No air conditioning in the room (just a noisy fan) classic double room was quite tight for 2 people, no complimentary bottles of water in the room.

Nice, clean friendly hotel, good staff, room was good, nice coffee machine, modern TV, good selection of channels too. Food was good, nice ambience, parking next door. Town centre is 2 minutes away. Very good value for money if visiting Bristol
