The "Alte Hof" - lovingly renovated farm - best location in Brixen iT.

Our 200 year old farmhouse, the "Alte Hof", is in an absolutely central location in the charming ski and holiday resort of Brixen im Thale. It was completely renovated in 2016 and modernized very comfortably without destroying the originality and flair of this Tyrolean farmhouse. Organic bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, ski rentals etc. are within walking distance. "Car-free, I'm there" is a real option here. The ski bus stops at the house (4 minutes to the BergbahnSkiwelt, 1.3 km), by train it takes 9 minutes to the Hahnenkammbahn in Kitzbühel.
In summer, visit the outdoor pool or the bathing lake in Brixen, or sit comfortably in your own garden and start the grill.

The farmhouse offers a good 200 square meters of living space on two levels with very high comfort. All rooms are heated with a modern gas heating (partly underfloor heating, partly radiators). For those who can't or don't want to let go - of course we also have WiFi and Sky!
Ground floor: There is a large hall on the ground floor, from which you can access the living room, the kitchen and a small TV room. The large, cozy, typical Tyrolean farmhouse parlor has an all-round upholstered bench, old paneled wooden walls and ceiling, and a tiled stove, which, as is customary in old farmhouses, is heated with wood from the hallway.
The kitchen is bright, quaint, functional. Our favorite and the perfect place for long evenings in large groups as well as extensive breakfasts. In addition to the electrical cooking and baking options, there is also a wood stove that you are welcome to light. Wood is of course provided. Of course, the kitchen is equipped with everything important. Glasses, cutlery and crockery are enough for more than 12 people, a dishwasher makes life easier and an espresso / coffee machine, a kitchen machine, raclette and fondue devices complete the whole thing.

Upper floor: A total of 4 bedrooms are available, including 2 rooms with attached modern bathroom with shower / bathtub / toilet and 2 bedrooms that share a larger modern bathroom with shower and tub. In addition to the double bed, we have equipped one of the bedrooms with a bunk bed, making it perfect as
Children's room can be used. We are happy to provide a children's travel cot on request. In addition, there are separate toilets on the ground floor and first floor.

Don't feel like cooking ?! No problem! There are many restaurants in the area. The Reitlwirt directly
next door is a good address, but the Thalhof is also highly recommended. Make a reservation in advance.

The house also has a small enclosed garden where you can grill in summer or chill out on loungers.

Stunning property
Beautifully restored old farmhouse, with plenty of character, lots of space, and (mostly) all the facilities you could want. Very friendly and helpful owners. Perfect position for the ski bus, with a convenient local supermarket. The "mostly" refers to the fact that the satellite TV wasn't working - not a technical issue, just a lot of snow covering up the dish. All in all, thoroughly recommended.
