Welcome to Gumby's Cottage! This stylish 2-bedroom cottage near the river is surrounded by the third largest forest in Florida, the Withlacoochee State Forest. This location offers many outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, canoeing, etc. The cottage resides in a peaceful rural community, but not too far from I-75 north/south, gas, and groceries. There is a restaurant within walking distance that offers various meals (The New Riverside Restaurant).
The space
The property sits on two lots. This property runs on well water and empties into a septic tank. Please be cautious of items placed in the drain to help protect the longevity of the septic tank.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire house.

This house was built in 1948 but remodeled in 2022. This house uses a well and septic tank, so please be careful with what you flush down the toilet. (Avoid feminine products in the toilet please.)

Peaceful and cozy
Nice location in quiet neighborhood. Perfect for our stay for the weekend visiting family. Had plenty of room and wifi for internet. Donell communicated very quickly with a response to all my messages. Will stay again when we visit in the future.
