Really good hotel. Very friendly staff. I have a service dog and they were very knowledgeable , that has been hard to find in some hotels. The breakfast was delicious, sausage gravy a must!

When first arrived on site they had been doing some remolding there was beds and stuff right in front where the canopy is. That should have been stored on the backside of the property.The first thing i noticed was the smell. The hallway carpets have not been shampooed and they tried to mask the smell with a strong fragrance. The room I stayed I believe was a remodeled one. There were people coming and going slamming the doors all night . Mold in the bathroom,worn furniture throughout. Lift chairs at the pool were broke and rusty. The pool was filthy with debris in it. The pool net was torn and left to rot. I paid north of $150 dollars for this stay and I would at least expect cleanliness. If I were the franchise I would be upset that this hotel was in this state. Never again will I stay here. The front desk was very nice.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay with us. First, I would like to apologize for the issues that did occur during your recent visit. And for giving us the opportunity to provide you with lodging accommodations. We take full responsibility for the problems that did occur during your stay. Would also like to rebuttal with some of the concerns that were mentioned. Upon arrival there is a number of items that are in the front near the entrance, they are not beds but sinks tubs mirrors and some other bathroom amenities that unfortunately couldn't be located in the opposite exit of the property. This is why it is mentioned on our website about the ongoing renovations project, as with any project obstructions and setbacks due happen. Correct on visualization it looks cluttered I do understand that again this was due to limited space. Following up due to the problems first mentioned please note that at any time if conditions aren't satisfactory and availability does permit you may request a room move at any time. Concluding, this facility hasn't had carpet in the rooms in almost a year. With the furniture being mentioned again this may not be accurate as with the remodel project all old furniture was removed and replaced with brand new furniture.Lastly, thank you for bringing these items to our attention so that the necessary problems would be immediately resolved. Once again thank you for your business.

Crappy Supervisor!

Rhonda greeted an exasperated "me". I realized I booked the wrong location as our navigator went in a different direction. Rhonda and I discussed my situation and options. I asked if Rhonda would call the HIExpress that I thought I booked. A Supervisor came around the counter and started, forcefully and negatively. She started telling me that I cannot do this or that. I told her that Rhonda had already explained my options and that all I needed now was a call to the other HI to see if they had rooms available. While I engaged with Rhonda, I asked the Supervisor to call the other HI. No rooms available, so I knew we were staying with Rhonda. I thought the supervisor was rude to both me and to her own delightful employee Rhonda. Just wrong! Call me and I'll describe her!
