Great stay
I was staying and looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay in Bruges. It is a short walk to the centre and still within the old town. It is an affordable and convenient place to stay.

Ibis Brugge Centrum
The hotel was due a refurbishment so we had to cross a small courtyard to a neighbouring Novotel for breakfast and to use the bar. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The hotel itself was clean and the staff friendly. It was about a ten minutes walk to the main square in Brugge. There is an excellent little free bus from Brugge train station which stops about 500 yards from this hotel. (It's first stop). We would recommend the horse and carriage ride, a boat trip around the canals and rivers, a trip to the oldest pub in Brugge, Vlissinghe and just a general walk around the beautiful little back streets as well as the main tourist areas.

The A/c did not work, I asked for a change of room and they told me that it was the same situation in every room. I had to move to another hotel and asked for a refunf, they only gave me a refund for the second night and told me that I have to contact you guys for that

Disappointing
This was a budget hotel. I have stayed with Ibis before so thought I knew the score. While well situated, the hotel was very tired. It needs a new lobby and renovations to the hallways. The room was clean and comfortable. There are no coffee machines and no complimentary coffee in the lobby. You get what you pay for, as the saying goes.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is in an excellent location very close to all of the main sights and attractions of this beautiful city and is only a short walk from the Train Station.

1980 artdeco design
Based in good location, The hotel is pretty basic with artderco design. The room was ridiculously small, no hot drink facilities and the TV is 28 inch., The last time updated in 1980. Woodchip & cheap laminate and walls decorated with cheap wallpaper is no longer acceptable at any level. All night can to hear running water and air conditioner making funny noises.

The ONLY nice feature: nice staff at front desk Building is centrally located Very very tiny rooms for EURO 140 - you can barely move around Basic everything Parking extra euro 20/day Breakfast extra euro 16/day Prices for a mid range hotel but this is a very very low cheap hotel.
