Jekell island must see location
Island was wonderful. Resturants were nice and diverse. Condo was nice. View amazing. Mattresses were very very hard. No fan in the bathroom so the floor was very slippery. My mom is very particular about bedding so she changed the sheets and refused to use the pillow. Other than that it was great.

Jekyll Island Condo - Sun, Waves, and Boardgames
The Jekyll Island Rental was in a prime location. We enjoyed the sun, waves, and proximity to Driftwood Beach. The condo we stayed in was cozy but dated. It had all the accompaniments of home, including board games for those rainy day afternoons.

Perfect place
We loved this unit. Ocean views from both levels are great. The unit is well appointed with a beach theme and is close to the beach. End unit by a walkway to a boardwalk over the dunes. The beach is shallow and if the tide is in there is no beach by the water. Plenty of sand above the dunes and a nice walk to Driftwood beach which is awesome. There is a flight of stairs to reach the unit. First floor is a kitchen , dining and living area with TV and balcony with chairs or stools. Upper level has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with balcony off the master bedroom (queen bed). 2 twins in 2nd bedroom. The only drawback is not having a powder room on the main level. If you have knee problems the stairs will be a problem. It’s a lovely unit with books and board games for use. And close to the pool too.

Wonderful getaway
The property was in an excellent location for exploring Driftwood Beach. Downstairs was spacious, upstairs could use a deep clean including the walls and baseboards. It would be a smart idea to chuck the dust ruffle as it was full of sand and dirt. Perfect size for us, but I could see the one bath being an issue for more than two. We would rent here again.

Jekyll Island is fun but this place needs work
The inside was tidy but dirty. The floors left our feet black until we requested a cleaning. And the smell of all of the water is similar to a dirty fish tank. Every time you brush your teeth or shower... We would definitely come to Jekyll Island again but would not stay here. Also, the place is very outdated. It’s time for some upgrades starting with the rusting fridge. The master bed was not comfortable to us. We ended up sleeping in the twin beds which were better. The location is great though and it is a nice sized place for a small family.

Great small place
Great views, comfortable bed and quiet friendly island. My wife and enjoyed our stay, don’t think would work for more than a family of 4 and the kids need to be pretty small. Master bedroom views are amazing could use some more comfortable chairs on the deck to really take advantage and the size of the TV I’m the master is laughable but we weren’t using it anyway.

Loved Driftwood Beach.
We had a relaxing time there. Overall a nice place to stay! We did have to drive to go to a beach area because of construction, but, that still wasn't a problem! Just a heads up to the owner, you have some air-conditioning problems. There was a leak from the light fixture above the dining room table. It dripped constantly. We did report it and the maintenance man came quickly, but did not fix the leak.

Great ocean view condo
Great 2 bedroom condo that has a great oceanview from both balconies. Villa is located right across from the pool and next door to the laundry. Only downfall is the only beach access is 3 buildings down.

Second Time - not so much luster
We were excited for our second trip to this condo and the island. Our first trip was in the spring. We wanted to see the difference in early summer. We had issues with spiders in the windows by sliding doors on both floors. Outlets were missing covers. The A.C. unit seemed to be struggling and I’m sure our temps were mild compared to late July and August on the island. We knew the beach conservation was happening just south of Driftwood Beach. We were sad with the changes as the new dunes sand is very rough to walk on. Driftwood Beach didn’t seem the same to us this time. Conical shells were found at northern (Driftwood) and southern ( St Andrews) tips of the island. Sand Dollars were found at Glory Beach. The sand is so lovely at Glory, but you have to go soccer complex to get to that beach. The island is spectacular and you will want to come back again and again.

Sunshine getaway
A lovely condo overlooking the ocean with beautiful sunrise and an abundance of birds including flocks of pelicans. It is a two story unit with one bathroom and both bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom faces the ocean with a small narrow balcony. It was nice to be above ground with ability to leave screen open at night and hear the waves crashing ashore. The balcony however is very narrow and not suited for extended periods of time. The chairs are hard stools with no table for drinks or food. There is another balcony on lower level with same set up. When we arrived the balconies were filthy with bird debris. My husband had to scrub the floors and wipe down the chairs before we could go out and enjoy the view. There were also bundles of dust bunnies in master bedroom and trash along the wall, which could use a little more thorough cleaning. The condo was nicely decorated and comfortable with a nice kitchen area for preparing meals. Due to Covid 19 the restaurants were closed for dining, only allowed take away so we had to cook a little. The location is not close enough to walk to restaurants or the only grocery store so you have to drive to get around although it's not a big island. My biggest concern was the lack of cross contamination precautions from the property with employees working without any masks or gloves. I watched as housekeepjng staff went in and out of units to clean without any PPE, watched as laundry was handled both clean and soiled without gloves, watched garbage collection without gloves or masks. The garbage bins are in wooden boxes with attached lids requiring one to lift before depositing trash. I carried sanitizing wipes with me everywhere because I saw how contaminated every shared and used item/structure was. We knew we were taking a chance traveling during this pandemic and took precautions to protect ourselves however I do not feel that the majority of people I observed did the same. Overall, a lovely place and worth revisiting but under the circumstances I am concerned about needing to improve sanitation safety.

We really enjoyed our stay. This is the first time I've been to Jekyll Island. The condo was just like the pictures, very clean and quiet and just a few steps away from Driftwood Beach. We will definitely return.

Our Anniversary Get Away
Since our 25th anniversary celebration here last year, we have made it our aim to come back and celebrate here every year. Absolutely nothing like being able to lie in bed and enjoy the sunrise. Not a lot of places to stay on Jekyll and actually be able to see the water too. Lovely experience!

Great Fall Getaway!
This was a great condo for us to get in some relaxing time by the beach before the realities of Fall and Winter set in. Highlight of this property for us was the view from both the upper and lower decks and being able to both see and hear the ocean as we slept. It was our first time on the island and we'd gladly return to this property. Just to caution other potential renters, access to the beach and ocean at the property is limited due to the current coastline restoration project. However, there are a number of convenient beach accesses nearby, and we managed to have several perfect beach days during our stay.
