Lovely hotel with a stately home feel. Stayed for 3 nights whilst working in Chesham and ate in the restaurant each night. The menu is very good although quiet pricey, however there is a bar area with separate menu which is also very good.

The difference between a de-luxe room and standard seemed to only amount to the number of cushions on the bed. I have stayed here many times but normally in a standard room, this time I used a deluxe and that seemed to be the only difference. The bathroom was also tiny and needed some upgrades as it appeared to have quite some water damage on the bath panel

Given it's January and the weather is cold there was no blanket and only a thin duvet. We couldn't get the radiator in the room to come on - so a little chilly. Water was slow to drain in bathroom sink.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel has good amenities and wonderful history with beautiful original features. Only slight negative was our room was very cold and you couldn't increase the temperature.

Lovely hotel bit noisy in the mews building
Hotel was lovely, noise from doors banging all night annoying , fire doors rattled with every open and close of the door. Bar food not complete meal, breakfast great though.
